yeah i saw its platinum edition for ps3 on some uk site (game or hut dont remember) a few weeks back, they were selling it for 1100 rupees, w/o shipping of-course

IGN Mission Preview - "Caught with Your Pants Down"

 

 

IGN today posted two new videos from Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony. The first video shows the cutscene from the mission "Caught with Your Pants Down", and the second video shows the gameplay aspect of the same mission. Don't watch the videos if you don't want the mission spoiled for you!

The mission itself offers a glimpse of the over-the-top nature of The Ballad of Gay Tony. You drive Yusuf's gold-plated car to Star Junction, where a helicopter lands during rush hour to pick you up. After flying across the city, you come to a transport helicopter carrying an APC tank. You free the tank by shooting the cables, leap out of the chopper and parachute down to where the tank lands. Then things get crazy.

The APC Tank is such a badass that you can use it to force your wanted level down. Roam the streets of the city and blow the hell out of every cop car and NOOSE van that comes by. Eventually the cops get so beaten down, they just stop showing up. Sooner or later, someone has to make the call that letting the guy with the tank ride off into the sunset is the right call.

Fernando Martinez Returns to Liberty City in Vice City FM

 

I'm going to just come right out and say it... GTA Vice City had the greatest soundtrack to a game ever created. Clearly I'm an 80's baby, so I would say that, wouldn't I? But come on, you can't deny it.

 

The good news is Rockstar have recognised that, and Fernando Martinez - the legendary icon behind Emotion 98.3 - will return in the latest Episodes From Liberty City to head a new station, Vice City FM.

 

The track list is currently unknown, although we can report that the following 3 songs are already confirmed:

 

* "History" by Mai Tai

* "I Can't Wait" by Nu Shooz

* "The Politics of Dancing" by Re-Flex

 

As far as the bad news goes, you can only sample the delights of Fernando Martinez in Liberty City if you purchase the disc version of Episodes From Liberty City, so sorry to all those heading down the digital download route for The Ballad of Gay Tony.
