Yeah I think I take my words back about the story of TLAD. It felt good...but then it was extremely predictable. Unlike GTA4 where you had choices and a WTF ending which i felt was great. Here I knew from the start what is going to happen...it was just a matter of WHEN.

Hope BoGT is better.

Played a bit of TBoGT last night. Thank you Rockstar for putting in checkpoints in the missions! As expected, the characters and dialog is some pretty good stuff. But I still can't get over the clunky controls.

Just started the EFLC with the lost and the damned .

Looking ncie so far, bike controlsa re good, the bike group feels nice .

Also the part where you have to stay in the group icon feels nice till now.

Johny feels more macho and better than mr. bellic, played a couple of missions and i am only using bikes now,and i like the noise filter.

so. finally i completed the GTA 4 saga an hour ago. both the main game and the 2 episodes.

Lets talk about the main game first, Loved gta 4. The story, VO, detail (oh the detail) and characters were just so brilliantly made and woven into. No one but no one does open end sandboxes better than R* confirmed, also they are the undisputed masters of pulp culture references. had a blast playing and listening/watching every little detail of the game. the story is very very good, nico is one to remember for long. his emotional struggle the rise the fall, all straight out of a movie, in fact the game is better than most movies considered to be epics. I also liked the way the 3 games were integrated, with stuff inconsequential in one having lasting impacts in other, very impressive.

yes the main game lacked variety (specially after san andreas' limitless gameplay) and i can see why people complained, hell even i found the game a tad monotonous earlier, but once the story started picking mainly post vlad i forgot all about that and started to enjoy the epic ride.

I have put over 65 hours in three games and still am amazed by some little added touch of realism or other, one day in TbOGT i was in search of some wheels, picked out a suv, slapped the driver and mounted it, only to see that an identical suv started following me and the occupants shot at me, apparently they were riding together, some gang.. and this was a random street encounter with no mission (not even drug wars) involved what so ever. this is what makes GTA 4 stand out among not just sandboxes, but even across genres to be among the best games of all time. I could spend hours just listening to the radio (hilarious talk shows) or watching tv in game (princess robo bubblegum :D)

I am literally speechless at the amount of work R* have put into this game. It only tells how awesome the next gta will be. The problems of mission variety (lack thereof) and absence of 'fun element' that many gta dissers used have already been addressed by TBoGT, i have full reason to believe that now the gta engine is perfect, gta V will have everything that a game could ask for.

Gta 4 deserves a perfect 10 in everything, that it rightly received from everywhere. respect R*respect.

P.S. yusuf f**king amir baby \m/

Yusuf Amir is one of the most innovative and hilarious characters that Rockstar has ever introduced. PERIOD. His dialogues are so priceless, you just can't help but fall off laughing. I really hope Rockstar somehow retains him in their next GTA title. After all, Yusuf did mention going to Vice City in one of his conversations with Luis.
