Thats the reason I got a Jasper from the US, just so that I will have much less probability of getting an RRoD. And as far as installing it on a HDD its utter nonsese as mentioned by someone else, especially if you have a 20GB HDD. I read somewhere reg. how to get a WD 120 GB 5400 rpm HDD to work with the Xbox instead of paying a bomb fo rthe M$ version. My concern isnt about the drive scratching my disks. My 2 year old doesnt let something else spoil a disc when she is already so good at it I still have my old PC games which are still in mint condition cause the hellion wasnt even born then. Now most of my movie DVDs which are near the TV are so badly scratched that they are worthless even as coasters. And since a console is near the TV she can reach it and now figured how to eject the drive so unless I play and immediately put the disk back in my shelf (which practically is not possible as I am not exactly the most organized person) nothing is safe with her. So the only alternative left is to play backups cause then my loss is only the DL verbatim as the original nver even leaves my shelf. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I got my Jasper arcade from the US less than a month ago and I was royally pissed of when one of my expensive game DVD got a couple of scratches (I have a 2 year old daughter). There was no way I was going to spend 2-3 grand on a game just to loose it becuase of a few accidental scratches.
