Its the Kentucky Saddler dude... One of the best horses available in the game... Its a Stallion and there are only 3 Stallion breeds available in RDR.... One is the Kentucky Saddler and the other two are Hungarian half-bred and the American Standard-bred.... The Hungarian Half-bred is available in Mehicco (white colored) and the American Standard-bred (full Black) which is available in blackwater (later stages of the game)... You 1st need to break a horse for it to be available in the general store... Once you have broken that particular horse, yu can purchase its deed... Right now, I'd suggest yu hang on to the Kentucky Saddler (atleast till Mexico) and then worry about getting the Hungarian Half-bred which you'd find there easily... Tyler Posted July 23, 2010 Report Share Posted July 23, 2010 That's one of the flaws in the game. It doesn't specifically tell you which breed you have currently. One way to find out is to go to a shop and see the horse deeds and descriptions and then compare those with your own horse. Horses become available to purchase once you've broken them in the game world. The Pearl-colored one you get during Bonnie's mission is a Kentucky Saddler. spindoctor Posted July 24, 2010 Report Share Posted July 24, 2010 (edited) so i got a treasure map from somewhere and it started a challenge... the map itself is a drawing of a few rocks, what the hell am i supposed to do with that? how can i use that to find the location? also, where can i find wolves which i have to apparently kill by knife for the challenge? I started this once I finished the game, so I could identify almost all the locations. Go to Hanging rock in north of Armadillo, behind the tree there is a pile of rocks, when you go near it, "investigate" will appear on the screen. I was so happy once i busted all, but to no avail except a $500 credit You have to win over 2000 chips in a hand of Poker, in one single hand. Can be done only in Blackwater, on High stakes table.
