Man, I'm so in love with this game right now. Martson is one hell of a character and R* has pretty much nailed the sandbox genre again. The voice acting, the music, the setting, the characters, everything is top notch. The only gripe I have currently is the dot cursor, which is sometimes very hard to notice. The game is almost near perfect, if not for so many bugs. I'm having a great time with it :good:

^^ I tried to complete all the optional side quests after finishing the main storyline. Some of them are quite rewarding.

I'm talking post-100% completion. I wish R* made some single player DLCs for this like they did for GTA IV.

I could've gone for 1000/1000 GS but many of the achievements are MP-specific :(

This game is as close to perfection i have come across in recent times (technical wh0arings aside).

Beautiful story, voice acting, missions, side missions, Everything.

This game owns many a movies in terms of presentation and story telling.

@ tyler, same here man, I would love a side story DLC where you play as West dickens :D

hell they should do one for Seth and Irish even. Or a combined one featuring the odd trio !!

put some significant hours into this game now, and I fail to understand how some of you guys can love this game so much and hate GTA IV at the same time

Its the same f**king game with horses and a countryside setting. Hypocrites all of you :chair:

Just completed it and I think I'm the only person here who's not completely in love with it. Its a good game but like many or rather all rockstar game the campaign suffers too many unwanted characters and lousy pacing.

What's the point of having 25 different characters when there's hardly any character development between the two. they should've done what the guys did with saints row and have fewer characters but with substantial roles to play. Like gta4 the best characters were introduced right at the beginning, the only character I had any sort of connection was bonnie and her story of her ranch.sadly we never get to know how it ends.

Secondly, the pacing is all over the place. a large part of Mexico is a total snoozefest and the part right before the end drags on and on and on.

whoa KrackChap man, that i did not expect

This is essentially John's story so you tend to focus more on what he doing and what he wants to do in order to get his family back, pretty obvious that there wont be any lasting relations with any character, i love this part as it made the game more real. You dont have any fairytale friendship or romance. Just some acquaintances that you help or take help from in order to achieve your objective and move on.

Still there is some connection with

Bonnie, when you are doing the family missions after killing Dutch, you deliver the corn to her ranch, the way she looks at you longingly when you drive away and then sweeps the ground with her foot was so poignant, like she finally realized that john is best with his wife and there is no way for them (bonnie and john) to have any relation

I never felt the game drags along (except the family missions but there is a good explanation for that) as there were many things to do when, if any boredom creeps.

I know that opinions can differ but just putting my views :)
