Tyler Posted November 1, 2010 Report Share Posted November 1, 2010 Yeah I am stuck on that one too. The bigger problem is finding them! I guess the gun/knife trick should work here as well. Shoot the animals a few times with dead-eye and then use the melee weapon to finish it off. That's what I did in those RDR knife challenges. A small cloud of greenish mist circles around it. * Famine has infinite stamina and has a swarm of locusts around it, though this is useless since Pestilence, War, and Death also have infinite stamina. * War has amazingly high stamina (not infinite, however nearly impossible to diminish) and anything its fiery mane and hooves touch will burst into flames. * Death has infinite stamina and it has a wind of death around it which causes the zombies' heads to explode on contact. Undead Bears, Cougars and Undead humans can't kill Death & Pestilence ....So you can sit on them and kill Bears nd Cougars easily with torch....Only way to kill them is shot them 3-4 times on head.... Death and War are the best mounts...Specially Death.... Locations * Pestilence is located around the West Elizabeth region in Tall Trees, between Manzanita Post and Aurora Basin, and in the Great Plains southeast of Beecher's Hope. * War is located around the New Austin region between Benedict Point, Tumbleweed and Gaptooth Breach and it is also located near Thieves' Landing, Mescalero, and right outside MacFarlane's Ranch. * Famine is located in Nuevo Paraiso region, between Chuparosa, and Tesoro Azul and can also be found northwest of Torquemada. * Death can be found between Las Hermanas, Sepulcro and Agave Viejo. Death may also be found in Gaptooth Breach and at the Scratching Post. Can also be found at the regions you found the other horses at. Death can also be given to you after completing the game storyline. * Don't get disappointed if you don't find the horses in the precise locations listed here because the overall locations are Pestilence in Tall Trees, War in New Austin, Famine in Mexico and you get Death as soon as you finish the story. To switch between all 4 horses, you must complete Four horse of Apocalypse Challenge and get a blood pact for all..Only then you can switch.....So, find all four horses one by one and then when challenge is complete, you can choose any horse.... I repeat, you can't switch between horses till challenge is complete... ****************** Horse - Unicorn The only way to find the Unicorn is to complete the Undead Hunter Challenges & Four Horses of the Apocalypse. Specifically, it can be almost immediately found right after the Chupacabra is killed. Finding and breaking the Unicorn is one of the requirements of the Undead Hunter/Army of the Undead Outfit. The Unicorn can be found on the east side of Mexico, north west of Torquemada. When zoomed out on the map screen, the unicorn is in the area designated with the three horse images, roughly in the same place as the Chupacabra in this area. The Unicorn can be differentiated from other undead mounts by the pure white skin, and the rainbow trail that follows behind it. When at a standstill, butterflies emerge from underneath, similar to Famine's swarm of locusts. The message "A mythical creature has appeared" does not appear when near the Unicorn. It must be found the old fashion way. If you lose the Unicorn, you can obtain it by returning to the northwest of Torquemada and find it again. ************************* Sasquatch They are most likely to be found in the snowy area around Tall Trees Sasquatch are present in Undead Nightmare. In the mission "Birth of the Conservation Movement", the player is asked by a man wearing the Expert Hunter Outfit to kill 6 Sasquatch around Tall Trees. When the last specimen is found, he'll tell a moving story about him being the last of his kind and how he wishes to be killed. After the cut scene, the quest is complete. However, the player can choose to leave him be or to end his life. Your decision will not effect the storyline or the rest of the game. *********** Chupacabra The Chupacabra can be found in the fields North West of Torquemada. When zoomed out on the game map, the area will have a picture of three horses. The creature can also be found South East of Perdido South of Casa Madrugada, or North of Chuparosa near the river. South East Las Hermanas, West Sepulcro. South East of Tesoro Azul near the main road. When the Chupacabra is nearby, a blue marker will appear, along with the message: "A mythical creature has appeared." The Chupacabra looks much like a dark green furred hyena and it's incredibly fast, but can be killed by the traditional shot to the head. The Chupacabra can only be encountered once the player has reached the Undead Hunter Rank 5 Challenge. Also, killing the Chupacabra is the only way to unlock the Unicorn. I let Famine go... he looked stinky! War is so much better! Also, as far as I can tell War also has infinite stamina. So what's so special about Famine anyway?
