(A)Kira
You need to set a waypoint in the map and then camp. There will an option in fast travel to go to the waypoint. And there you are.

Pushy
Posting my review from other forum:  Finally finished playing Red Dead Redemption (RDR). The game was quite different from whatever limited games I had played. Although I liked the game I still had a few issues with the game. The game’s UI is not as helpful as that of Uncharted. There are many features of the game which I came to know after accidentally trying out different things ex: Using the map to mark out your route, saving the game. In Uncharted series saving the game is very easy but in RDR it is not that straight forward.  The ending of the game is a bit hard to digest – I will not reveal any spoilers but the moment you think the game has finished, there will still be stuff to do. In my case I thought I had finished the game but then when I read some stuff about the game’s ending online, I realized that I had actually not finished the game and that there was still one mission to finish. Such things do not happen in say Uncharted. Note that I am not saying that the ending is bad or anything but a person should know when the game has finished.  Those who have played might understand.  THIS: yeah from open world to linear ended game.... The Comparision level is just unbeatable  AND THIS:  Comparing RDR to Uncharted....  This needs one more.....   Where have I compared UC and RDR? I am just saying that saving the game in RDR is not as simple as saving a game in UC. I am not comparing gameplay of both games.  I may be new to gaming but please do read my post again.  In UC you can save the game anywhere whereas in RDR you need to be away from a town etc to save the game. I was just comparing this saving aspect - not that gameplay.   Good to know that...This was my first game in this genre i.e. open world gameplay  then first play some Open World games and then comment or relate the features, u can't simply say, hey dude, i played RE and COD, both were my first shooting games and i loved COD, BC, get-a-life (ref: GTA4 reveal trailer) it's like, comparing  snail to a horse 1100 to a smart phone nano to a nissan GTR bicycle to a bmw s100 rr dermicool powder to an actual AC magnifying glass to a binocular
