I emailed the Windows Compatibility Centre via the Partner Submission portal yesterday. I asked if Red Dead Redemption was an actual program officially submitted by Rockstar Games or Microsoft. I also asked if its possible to submit an app under a company you have no affiliation with like the Super Mario Bros. X game. I asked them to verify Red Dead Redemption from Rockstar before emailing me back.
This is the response I received this morning:
"My apologies for the mistake.
I have removed this game from the catalog and should possibly get removed from Windows Compatibility Center by 5/13 or latest by 5/14."
That's it. The representative didn't say if it was official or not. Just that's its listing was a mistake.

Rockstar is working on a next-gen project due sometime before 31st March 2015.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said during an earnings call today that he's "very excited about what they [Rockstar] have in store for next-gen systems in this fiscal year," i.e. the period ending on 31st March 2015.

Could this mean next-gen ports of GTA 5? A new Red Dead game perhaps? Take-Two isn't saying and refused to confirm if Rockstar would even be attending E3 this year.

Zelnick added that he expects Rockstar to account for 45 per cent of its of its revenue in fiscal 2015.

The publisher also noted that Grand Theft Auto 5 has "sold-in" more than 33 million copies to retailers worldwide, which is only a fraction more than the 32.5 million it had already sent out three months ago. Previously GTA5 smashed world records by being the fastest game to ever make $1 billion.

Comparatively, Borderlands 2 has shifted 9 million units worldwide and BioShock Infinite sold 6 million copies to retailers.

As for the publisher on the whole, Take-Two's GAAP net revenue for the quarter ending 31st March 2014 was $195.2 million. This was a substantial decline from 2013's $299.5 million made during the same time-frame, but the publisher attributed this to the fact that last year it released mega popular sci-fi extravaganza BioShock Infinite around that time.

Take-Two noted that it will release more than 10 games over the next fiscal year. Five of these have been announced. These include: NBA 2K15, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth, Evolve, and WWE 2K15.

After playing this game again my feelings are...Ahhh. What a game! The best I've ever played! Most replayable!! Wonderful experience I'm having with this. Story, Gameplay...everything is the best! Nostalgia! <3 I hope they remaster this classic for the next-gen consoles and I wouldn't even mind buying it even if it is priced 4K or whatever! Finally, Rockstar San Diego... :majesty::hi::good: John Marston. \,,/

Here it says that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released along with GTA 5 this year! if that's true, then :panic:

Red Dead Redemption 2: All You Need To Know On The Release Date, Reports And Rumors Of The Long Awaited Next Series Of The Red Dead Video Game

Since 2010, there has not been any Red Dead game and we must admit that we miss it. However, one analyst suggested that Rockstar is getting ready to launch its new entry this year. It has been rumored that the game will not be called Red Dead Redemption 2, but we have concrete information that it will be called RDR2. Since there is no official announcement we are collating news, rumors and speculations we have.

The Rockstar Games has not announced the release date but back in 2012, Rockstar had confirmed that it wasn't completely finished with the Red Dead franchise and had plans to release a new installation in future. Rockstar says, "We don't always rush to make sequels but that does not mean that we won't get back to them eventually. Stay tuned for further announcements about the future of the Red Dead series."

According to Colin Sebastian, an analyst, the Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released at the end of 2014 along with the GTA 5 PC. It is anticipated that the next Red Dead title will not be called Read Dead Redemption 2. This is because the original Redemption released in 2004 was called Red Dead Revolver, which was followed by Red Dead Redemption in 2010. It is rumored that the next game will be known as Red Dead Rebellion.

As we wait Rockstar to eventually provide some official details about this, there are few thoughts as what the fans would expect to see in the next Red Dead series. There is expected increased protagonist depth. Similarly beautiful environments as in the earlier series, creation of a prequel, an improved control system which is similar to the improvements made between GTA 4 and GTA 5. The next Red Dead could have the same improvement. The fans also want to see more varied missions and the introduction of single player process.

There is a lot of what the fans of Red Dead series want to see. All we have to do is to wait for the announcement of the official release date as we wait for the next series of the Red Dead video game.

And here it says that it will be released in 2015 fall. Let's see which is going to be true! RDR FTW BABY!! :punk:

Raid Redemption 2 release date is set for next year, Fall 2015 if the rumors are to be believed.

While Grand Theft Auto is the most popular franchise of Rockstar, Red Dead Redemption has been regarded as one of their best games yet and it's no surprise that they are making Red Dead Redemption 2 right now.

According to the Motoring Crunch, The senior engineer, Feinstein, revealed that he is working on a sequel to a famous IP from Rockstar. The lad is was part of the team that brought the Max Payne series. Based on the reveal, only three titles are in contention for getting a sequel. In a report by the Motoring Crunch, they have spotted the profile of senior game developer at Rockstar on a social networking site, it appears that the next game that Rockstar is working on right now is Red Dead Redemption 2.

They are identified as Red Dead Redemption, Bully and Manhunt. All three are Rockstar's success stories and they all deserve a sequel. However, Red Dead Redemption is the most popular of the pack.

As reported by Cyberland, Red Dead Redemption 2 release date was tentatively set at Fall 2015 and with Rockstar working on it right now, gamers should expect an E3 2015 announcement and the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date on Novemnber 2015 for the PS4 and Xbox One.

What do you want to see in Red Dead Redemption 2? Would we see the return of the Marston family or would it have another protagonist? Sound off in the comments below!
