And he actually made a game that is technically superior on PS3, and made Source engine sing on that so called complicated platform. Also, I'm taking back my comments on the PS3 port. It isn't as bad as I remember although it was just few months ago! Just wish it was 720p. Nonetheless, a great game is a great game! Star Lord Posted October 31, 2015 Report Share Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) I was playing Crysis 2 on my PC with all settings maxed out and 1080p :3 then I started playing RDR on PS3..the story,characters and the epic Western setting was so good that I didn't care about graphics and never went back to Crysis 2 I was a PC fanboy always and this game was the only reason that I bought a PS3. I should've have mentioned it earlier that gunplay is the actual reason why I prefer Red Dead to GTAV. Still don't agree with ya! GTA5 has grand design Read Dead can never match that the developers can be much more creative with a grand design of a GTA for example something like a GTA Online can never be recreated in an RDR though both are completely different experiences & cant be or shouldn't be compared I never said that RDR is better when it comes to world design or production values. It is very limited in nature and not much can be done with its world, whereas GTAV has no boundaries; anyone will agree with that! As far as the experience goes, yes, I think both are a bit different and can't be compared much except in few aspects like gunplay, sound design etc where I'd definitely pick Red Dead over GTAV. The game makes you feel like a gunslinger with a story to be told. And its also fun as heck. Edit: and no to remaster, BC, remake or whatever. Gimme an RDR2.
