But the way Tyler is talking about piracy and pirates is stupid. I mean dude, you are no one to decide if someone should give up his hobby or not. If someone mods his consoles and plays games without paying anything; then it's his choice. I wouldn't mod my console cause I just think it's not worth playing pirated games and it's unfair for the developers. But then, that's my point of view and if someone pirates a game I can't tell him to stop playing because he isn't supporting the developer. Why don't you buy 3-4 copies of games if you are so interested in supporting the developers? Even if you are pirating 2-3 songs by downloading them, then you are no less a pirate. That is a stupid excuse that you can't find it. If you want me to reply like you do, I would say that since you can't find it - you don't need to listen to that audio cd or watch that movie. And for the recods...piracy is there everywhere- not just in India. Yes it's a pirate's choice to pirate and I have nothing against that. I never asked pirates to stop playing their games. But trying to prove that what they are doing is right is what irritates the f**k out of me. What irritates me even more is sensible people supporting those thoughts by defending them and saying piracy is not stealing. How is it not stealing? An intellectual property is a property in the end. As for buying 3-4 copies, why would I do that? I have already done my part by buying the game legit. Do you buy 3-4 of all the items you need? Supporting the developer and giving them their due is one aspect of it. It's not the only argument I have. And yes you made a fair point about the stuff that's not easily available. It results in a direct loss of revenue for the industry. Physical product or not, the end result of piracy/stealing is that the creators suffer monetary loss.
