Another funny incident in online MP last night. I was racing another chap to the next gang hideout. I was out ahead in the lead. Realized that the path I was on skirted a steep cliff. I stopped my horse, took out my Springfield rifle and took aim at the guy galloping on his horse, coming up behind me. Just as his horse reached the edge of the cliff, I fired a headshot. The horse buckled face forward and the chap was tossed off its back, straight over the edge of the cliff.

Nope. It wasnt you.

In online MP the "back" button on your X360 controller is the key to everything. Press "back" and then switch between the main menu and Friends menu using "RB" and "LB".

And HEll YEah!!! I will be online tonight. This game's MP is quite addictive.

got it today !! (surprising really, considering that around 1600 hrs i read here that intencity had shipped the copies)

played 40 odd mins and i am already awed by the slick presentation and characterization by rockstar. no one does it better than them :wOOtjumpy:

also, its not like ur random gta, for one, its bloody hard to start up a mindless rampage. I am still in the opening ranch and tried to kill some people for fun and before i knew it, law enforcement and random posses were on my a*s.

also in gta i cud take any random fancy car, here if i take any other stead than mine, a bounty is placed on me :wallbash: and strangely i think its for the better, helps to keep a segregation from the gta world, or maybe i just suck at the game atm :|

ive

just been betrayed by the mexican gov, so joined with the revolution guys

but so far this game hasnt done much for me, its good, but doesnt have me hooked. dont feel that excited playing it. well maybe cause i dont like the wild west all that much, but i find the missions kinda boring & the story is kinda boring too. i found the ballad of gay tony alot more fun than this. also so far the game is a bit too easy. sure its a good game, but i dont think it deserves goty or anything.

Lol. RDR hasn't evolved much in the gameplay. It's very much like GTA4, go from A to B, shoot this guy, save that guy, protect this sh*t, destroy that sh*t etc etc.

Yet they added variety of things there. The initial part spent in the New Austin is really fun cuz of so many good characters.

If you see the cut-scenes and pay attention to the story, you will realize how much effort has been put here. The VO is simply exceptional.

And there is a lot much to do, I loved all the mini-games and liked the way they have added Strangers and Random characters so you will always find something to do even if you are simply roaming around. Other day, I was hunting for treasures and that is pretty much I did for 3 hrs. Next day, I was hunting animals, And in last 2 days, I am hooked to the poker. Today I finished all the hideouts. And yet I am not bored of the game.

The gfx are stunning for a open-world game. There is a basin near Tall trees, go to the point where river starts. That place looks so beautiful I felt like being in Uncharted2 for a min. R* has shown with RDR that they aren't done yet.

@Nemo

How do u like the graphics? A bit itchy yea?

itchy as in ??

yes its not as refined as ac2 when it comes to outdoor locations, i dont know what its called but you can see flickers in the screen in distant background when the cutscenes take place in full fields.

other than that, i dont find much problems, the game looks might fine. i am not a big grafix hoe

So MT humiliates other people online besides me..? :|

Nope. The really bad stuff is reserved for you.

Last night in online Free Roam, I saw this

He was alive. I gave him a headshot and voila, his body magically popped out of the ground and flopped around on the road like a spastic fish.

Is the game available locally in Mumbai now?

I called Shivam electornis today, and they dont yet have the new stock.they say tht its expected by tomorrow, and they have been saying this from last 3 days. If i dont get it by tomorrow, i may start loosing interest in the game :surprise:

EDIT: they have the PS3 version. but 360 version is sold out
