vee-en Posted December 2, 2007 Report Share Posted December 2, 2007 dude....u're apparently too new to the 360...!! the 3 red lights are very common with the 360....it doesnt matter if its modded or not, but u can be a victim of the 3 lights... now, there only a 50-50 chance tht yr 360 will work again...u can take it to palika and try to get it fixed....but there is no guarantee.... I live in delhi.. abt 4 monts ago I brought a modded 360 frm Gaffar... it was goin fine till yesterday for the first time while playing FIFA 08 the screen freezed and went all grainy... after a few re starts I got the 3 red lights of DOOM....... Now I know most of u will be cursing me for buying a modded consol and supporing piracy... :eyebrow2: so shoot on if u want.. But I just wanted to know if anyone else had the same problem of a modded 360 breaking down and can tell me if it can be fixed in palika or gaffar... as obviously sending it to M$ is out of question..... Please help guys.... Dude, I havent faced RRoD yet, but it occours due to many reasons, first knw the reason!! Go to sm trustworthy person in pallika and get possible repairs done!! I sold my Xbot in parts (HDD, console, controller, games etc)..... There are many buyers around...if you look into the trading post I'm sure you will find ppl who are lookin to buy Xbox stuff. vinitwins Posted December 3, 2007 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 basically you can try selling off: controllers - ~1-1.5k hdd - ~2.5k power adapter & component cables - ~1-1.5k mike/headset - ~500 bucks dead xbox unit - ~2.5-4.5k (depending on whether someone wants to salvage the dvd drive and/or any other components - internal wireless receiver, gpu/cpu coolers, casing, etc) games - dont sell your pirated games on GI - you will be BANNED. Whining about the shitty hardware is no excuse, especially when M$ has wholeheartedly acknowledged the problem and is offering free replacements for 3 years.
