Xeno Posted September 29, 2007 Report Share Posted September 29, 2007 lol....well its official...I talked to MS support some guy named raymond... he asked me to remove HDD and play the game and see if it happens. I did so...and Halo 3 worked fine...I left the console on just to test it out for long duration for like 2 hrs...came back to the console..unpaused the game and BANG...hang... restarted the console and Wo0o0olaaa 3 red lights!!! so I'm officially one of those million people... see,i told ya it was gonna happen!! GamerZ-Cloud Strife Posted October 7, 2007 Report Share Posted October 7, 2007 Oh dont worry about that, it happens with every console...the top of my console becomes brown due to the heat every time i play for more than an hour lol yup my frnd has unlocked Red rings of Light Achievement...as his console is modded "DVD Anti-Scratch Mod"..so no warranty for him..after trying the Towel Method..then Bam it worked after playing Burnout Revenge for 3hrs..it hanged after restarting RROL...i though of banging his console..but we r not people of "Smasmyxbox"websites...so at last i have done X-replacement method and now its 4th day..and his console is working just fine...its just luck and little Hard work of buying screws and solution..@ last we have done it... indyaan Posted October 9, 2007 Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 I think this happens when you have some power fluctuations or something..otherwise Pal console should work just fine.. i have played halo 3 and ocuple of other games for almost whole night and it worked just fine without any issues...
