Apparently this means that Meekrosoft India will refuse to fix it. Even tho its a completely original piece, unmodded. I think that kind of sucks. I'm also aware that it WAS okay to remove India from the list of countries where the warranty is supported. Generally, I don't think you can do that anymore, not when the product is directly sold in India, not when your company has a presence in India. It is still your product. As a company, you should stand behind it and fix it, no matter if I bought it in Tibet or Timbuktu. I still PAID money to YOUR company for YOUR product. I've met people from the Indian offices of International MNC's. They don't say, oh we're one of the smaller companies in India. They say, oh we're part of one of the BIGGEST companies in the world! They identify with the parent company. Then they should support the parent companies products. Specifically, I think Microsoft India needs to support any and all Xbox 360's. Why? Because Microsoft screwed up. They screwed up and they admitted it. They said they were sorry, they said that they would put their money where their mouth was and they put aside a billion to fix things. This single act redeemed them in my eyes. Not completely, but partially. And then Mohit and the rest of the 360 jokers decided that they. personally, would only fix 360's bought in India. So my choice was get a system I knew would eventually fail, or buy an Elite from abroad that might fail. I chose the Elite. And I DID invest in Microsoft India. I've bought more that 30K worth of games. I've personally convinced at least 10 people who were wavering between a PS3 and 360 to get a 360. My reward is uncertainy, doubt and the nagging feeling that if something does go wrong with hardware that really should have been more fail-proof, then I'll have to pay to have it shipped to another country. killzone123 Posted January 29, 2009 Report Share Posted January 29, 2009 yesterday got my rrod console replaced....was playing fable 2...i was online but was not playing the game online...single player alone... now the thing is the screen froze three times within a hour of gameplay ...and each time i had to switch off and switch on the console again....because no button nothin was working can anyone tell me what is the problem...in my previous console this thing did not happen even once...have they sent me a ** up console in exchange of their ** up console again ...well in google few guys reported this as a sign of rrod...so this replacement already showing signs in one hour of gameplay?? and please dont tell me the disc is scratched or anything..i tried wit fable2 and mirror edge both are like brand new disc?? so what the hell is this ?? after replacing my console in 14 days this is what they sent me...are these signs of a faulty console again???
