You cannot quantify the ill-will Meekrosoft has earned by being so shoddy with their hardware quality control. I've heard rumours that Redington STILL have consoles from the initial screwed up batch lying unsold. Which means that some poor schmuck might be buying a RROD-friendly console as we speak. I hope i'm immune, since I have a recent release version of the Elite. I don't get much time to play, so no night-long marathons burning up my 360 either. I just swtiched on the bot and then put in the MassEffect game created profile and then it just freezed. thats it only gud thing is M$ agreed that they are junkies and dont know how to manufacture h/w and are replacing the bricked consoles. There's no pattern - except online MP works fine consistently. I have noticed Fable2 freezing issues a bit, but nothing compared to POP / AC. I read somewhere that out of region games could lead to this issue sometime - which I personally believe is absolute BS - NTSC / PAL conversion problems will lead to bad display, not freezing. Today the redington girl rang me and was confirming my address..in the end i just told her one thing...hope this time it last more then 5hrs...and she was giggling too... i know many people say it so good of microsoft that it replaces rrod consoles...so why we cry about rrod...but first of all they not doing us favour by replacing them..secondly check the quality of the replacement consoles that they give...its not that they give us brand new consoles(except some blessed guys who have got new consoles according to them) plus as a gamer or even as a consumer...the very feeling that my gadget will die on me anytime...that feeling is very bad ....atleast i dont enjoy that..anyways as i said lets hope this time my replacement console lasts more then 5hrs.... I think i read on the angry pixel's interview with Jaspreet Bindra, that the RROD warranty for India lapses this September!
