MoonStruckHorrors
Aw man. Those screens.
piper
Gameplay is still fantastic in comparison with latest BF iterations.. Excellent infantry-combat with vehicles being few and far in-between. Some screens (full-res, just click). Especially love how the end of each round has a small cutscene, making the outcome appear more relevant.
Aftrunner
Can you find servers?? Been meaning to reinstall this. A friend never played it and I wanted to show him what actual good Rush maps are supposed to be like. I miss my super OP M60. A friend never played it and I wanted to show him what actual good Rush maps are supposed to be like. I miss my super OP M60. Plenty of servers (Europe) with pings in the 150-180ms range. Just spent an hour today. Laguna Presa still gives me the creeps.

piper
damnnn.....can't wait >.< about 3gb of download done......arica harbor here i come I actually had Vietnam on another Origin account. I realised that the code needs to be redeemed in-game. So now I have the complete game. Haven't played Vietnam DLC ever, and most of the base map packs either (didn't have VIP pass in my PS3 copy). Played BF4 after this, felt meh. Koldy, let's squad up and play this. Be sure you're on TS, too. And Afty, hope to see you in-game sometime. There is some IVG guy who plays regularly, forgot his id...

piper
How's the Vietnam DLC different from base?
SpearHea:D
Vietnam dlc is like hardcore mode of vanilla bc2 . Maps are meant for CQ imo not for rush .
indusporus
best BF game.Hands down. i didn't like vietnam as much as I did the vanilla maps...mainly because of lack of same scale destruction. The guns and vehicles are fun though
Agent 47
Hey guyz, I have spent hours on this game on my PS3 and its the best battlefield game ever. But now nobody plays this game on PS3 anymore that's why i play BF3. Is it worth to buy on PC now in 2014. Are servers still active for this game and how is the latency. From past couple of hours i have checked the forums and members have been saying no to COD:Ghosts, Titanfall and even BF4 [For MP] that's why i just remembered this game and thought of getting your views. Heaven Angel
Always active and will be. You can easily find server to play. Worth buying? Yes. (you should own it already.) Skip the DLC.
SpearHea:D
Servers are still populated on pc and my latency to euro servers is 170-180 , shitty bsnl connection . The console version is 24 players right ? I would say get it for 32 players , populated serves , 60 fps , gfx etc and its quite cheap too 600 bucks .PC gaming Edited May 17, 2014 by SpearHea:D

Actually i already own it on PS3. A Veteran on this game.Nobody plays on it anymore I even bought the DLC on it. My fav maps on those were Hill 137 and Phu bai valley. So, should i pick a retail copy or download off steam. Retail is cheaper, amazon selling it for 599. If Steam, what is its download size ? Ya, it was 24 players on console. Edited May 17, 2014 by Agent
Heaven Angel
Steam: 7.7 GB I would go for retail box. It's cheaper and has a nice plastic casing.

My bc2 folder + vietnam is 8.20 GB , so i think that should be the size of steam version too . Airtel connection is great of mp gaming .
