KnackChap
Logged in a few hours into the beta and absolutely loved it so far. Perfect game to pick up once the MW2 craze dies. - the whole battlefield atmosphere is beautifully captured, very intense stuff. there's hardly any game on the market that can match in this aspect. The whole automated chatter going on in the background is a very cool touch. your squad mates where he'll scream "sniper sniper" "RPG" etc before going down. Awesome stuff. Only downer is the 16 player cap, the map feels big for the no of players despite the objective based game mode. I hope they bump it to 24-32p. Gun play is a mixed bag so far. The player & gun movement feels heavy sort of like killzone which is fine but the shooting lacks a bit of punch. Maybe because I was playing with the default rifle or because most of the combat takes place over long range. I also noticed a few problems while aiming down the iron sight too, sometimes it would snap to a target while mostly it would any sort of aim assist. another minor issue is that is takes way too long to unlock gun attachments. For the first attachment, a red dot scope you need to get around 5000+ points with the rifle which is approximately 100 odd kills. For comparison sake MW2 requires 25 kills to unlock th RDS and you start unlocking stuff from 10 kills onward & its a lot easier.

I dunno if I would call it unique I was dead 15 times before I could figure out what the f**k was going on. That said, this game seems deep. Has a learning curve but might be worth it. mango_man
i am loving the beta so far. i did get beat up in the first half of the first match i played but den i got a grip of it. tho still not very familliar wida map, m able to maintain a 1.0 k/d ratio. with a lil more effort n practice n bettr guns, dis game wud get easier to crack. the graphics are decent enough but they have dis peculiar glossy or say bloom effect to it...i think! or may b m wrong! it isnt very comforable to the eyes, same i felt wid bfbc1. may b thats just me. regardless, i'l b buyin da game. Davis Nayagam
I wonder whether this happened to anyone else. It was a bug. (I know we can't expect much from a beta but still I thought I should share this here) I was playing with two of my friends. While playing, I and one of my friend got respawned inside a room which had no exit. There was no ceiling so we could clearly see the sky from inside the room but few chairs and tables were hanging as though it was place on a floor. We tried all the possible ways to get out of it but we failed. We tried to blast the walls with grenade and grenade launchers but it was unbreakable. So we called the third guy for help, he came and tried to blast from the outside but still it didn't work. And the ceiling was a floor with chairs and tables for him from the outside. He was standing/running on it too. He couldn't see us but we were able to see him. Finally we found a way, SUICIDE was the best option to get out of it. :chair: I love the game and will be buying it though..

I have unlocked sevral gun and also the specialization. The only thing i did not like was that the recon has to fire atleast 2 shots to bring down a target with full health. And that really isnt easy, especially when u have to zoom out of scope to reload, most of the times the target manages to escape and ull end up getting an assist when that player dies. I too am liking this game a lot.
dislike
This is what i felt after 3hours of playthrough on BFBC2 beta:- Gunplay quite interesting and nice- Graphics- neither stunning nor bad.Mediocre,i felt the graphics waaay better than what MAG had to offer,i could find sh*t loads of jaggies when playing it on vivid mode thanks to crappy Anti Aliasing Would it change my mind to get it on March2010? Ans:Certainly not and here are the reasons. March sees the release of two God(meaning the highest status) games called God of War3(the reason to buy a ps3 2years back) and Gran Turismo5. And thus my cash would have been pretty much saved up for those two games.Plus i already own killzone 2 and Modern Warfare2 both which offer me a really good variety in gunplay and overall gameplay experience. So i will just stick to kz2 and mw2

TropicalRajput
My PS3 finally got some use after catching dust and doing nothing since I have had it. Got the US BETA, played it for an hour and I am really looking forward to it. I have always loved battlefield series since it's beginning on the PC few years ago. I prefer it over MW2. Maps are bigger and this game offers much more of a team work experience vs MW2 where it's all about individual kills.

nash
The beta so far is fkin a*s. I had to stop playing after half an hour cos I was getting a fkin migrane. WTF happened to DICE? BF 2142 was ace and this feels like unpolished turd. The game looks terrible. Gun play is ghand and shoving vehicles down my throat doesn't make the game experience intense; it just dilutes it. What chance does a foot soldier have? And seriously why for the love of god doesn't this c*nt franchise get a red dot sight? OK so Sam tells me that you do get the red dot sight after 100 kills but still.. Aftrunner
LOL. You can get a red dot sight from what I know. Vehicles have been there in BF since the beginning and if your are playing as an Assault class and taking on a vehicle you are asking for an a*s whopping. silentassassin
You don't really have a choice; you either face the tanks or get into one. The game mode is Attack and Defend so all the action is concentrated in certain areas. So when three guys from the opposing team are in tanks around the area you have to attack defend, WTF do you do?peace take engineer n fire rockets... or take recon n place charges..explode them whn da tanks cme near.. i really enjoyed sniper...if u take headshots u can kill em in 1 shot...n even if u jus take one shot its enough as u'll get points fr assist.. spend sme more time in da game..u may like it..
