They messed up the save system in the first one! I really hope they ditch the "Realistic" aspects of saving a game, realize people are playing a game with real life time constraints and not actually living in the middle ages, and allow us to save whenever we want from the menu like any modern game and get rid of the Bed saves and "Savior Schnappes" Drink. That was the only major complaint I had with the first game!

Even the older GTA games has the same mechanic, maybe some tech limitation of the prev gens ?

Also the first game was available on egs for free as part of their give away.  Have purchased it, question is whether it’s worth playing ? Seems like a slow burn Middle Ages sim game ? Does it have a plot /decent gameplay ?

It's not limitations in this case because the original Kingdom Come Deliverance was a PS4 game released after the latest GTA (GTA5)! From what I understand the developers wanted to go for realism, but this kind of realism isn't good (AT the end of the day, we are still playing a game and still have time limitations and would like to save our progress)! The Save system was tied to drink that had to be crafted via alchemy which required ingredients and a bench or you had to buy with gold! Or save on bed! But the problem is - the game had no mini-map or interactive map that showed everything! It had a static map and a compass that only showed where your objectives were and nothing else!

Plot and is pretty good! It's especially really nice is you like history and want to experience what it was like to live in medieval times! Gameplay is a bit clunky though! You're in 1st person always, you have to ensure you eat properly and sleep, you cannot attack multiple enemies at once or you'llnot make it etc.

So it’s like a medieval life sim ?

UE5 open world game and supports 1080p at 30fps on S. ;).

As confirmed by Warhorse Studios, Deliverance 2 will feature Performance and Fidelity modes both PS5 and Xbox Series X, with the former running at an upscaled 1440p at 60 FPS, and the latter at an upscaled 4K and 30 FPS. On Xbox Series S, meanwhile, the game will run at 1080p and 30 FPS, with no 60 FPS option offered

*****

Every UE 5 game runs on S except ones with some kind of hidden deal ;) :P
