Completed act 2 + epilogues , mind bending reveals ! I was wondering how are they going to explain all that weird stuff going on, and looks like they are wrapping it up quite well !

The boss fight with paintress was a bit easy though, took me one try to understand the patterns and was able to defeat in the second attempt.

Guess I’m almost at the ending considering the game said it’s the final objective !

Yes. Act 3 main story is not that big. By the way, you would be tempted to explore and do some side activities. I would recommend not to since the newly accessible areas are tough and I don't think it's worth spending time into. I honestly find them boring, enemies were either one shotting me or I am one shotting them.

If it's accessible via fly only, then you are under leveled. Ground ones you can do in order to level up a bit. There is some good loot as well.

BUT! Don't rush to main area and end the game either. Rather do character quests. Maelle one is important and area was innovative as well. It will also boost your level while feeling like you are doing some main quest. Then optionally you can do Lune which is just one boss fight!

Then head straight to final boss and finish the game.

Oh, I directly went into act3, now fighting with this boss called creation.  Where do I get the character quests ? I talked to everyone in the camp, didn’t get any quests.  I’m around relationship level 4 with all characters !

Level 5 or above they give you quests. Keep talking to them.

Exhaust dialog options and they'll give you. But since you are there. End the game.

Killed the 2nd axon Sirene yesterday? How much game is left in the main storyline?

4 to 10 hours depending upon your level and whether you are interested in doing companion quest or not.

…. and finished the game.  One of the best JRPG style turn based game I have played in a long time.  Visually the game is extremely appealing with a beautiful artistic world that makes exploration, delightful.  The game also has an incredible story which kept me glued until the very end. Despite all the tough boss battles, the one thing that kept me going was I wanted to see how it ends or get a sense of what’s going on !

If I have to really nitpick, these are some things which could have been done better :

1.  The game is not completely turn based, there is a good amount of parrying and dodging that the player has to execute almost flawlessly to win many battles, irrespective of whatever the level he is on.  I think you will be able to win most battles by just parrying and dodging without even levelling up.

2.  Sometimes the game cheats by giving the enemies way too many turns or just reset their health back to full when you think you’ve almost won the battle which is frustrating.  Also, many of the attacks the enemies have, for example, like silence, exhaust, invert et c., the player can never get.  At least. I couldn’t find any pictos that gave me these abilities.

Apart from the above to minor issues, I think the game is very good.  I played on PC game pass at the highest settings on 2K and it ran very well.  I didn’t measure the FPS, but it was extremely smooth.  I couldn’t find any bugs/game  breaking performance issues either.

Also,  I think this game is best played on an OLED screen.  I played it both on IPS monitor and OLED tv, and I have to say the difference is night and day.

Overall, a solid 9/10 from my side!

This game is very special and it'll always remain in my memories like other masterpieces

Exceeded everyone's expectations. This game is triple A standard, excelling every element that makes a game good.

Completed 2 plathroughs, although I could've reloaded my save but I felt this game deserved another playthrough and it didn't got me bored or burned out.

the second playthrough allowed me to understand each character's motives well.

Music is 11/10 it's just too good.

The best turn based gameplay I've ever played. Better than FF

Performance, Charlie Cox as Gustave, Jennifer English as Maelle, Ben Starr as Verso, Shala Nyx as Sciel, Andy Serkis as Renoir, Rich Keeble as Monoco, and Maxence Cazorla as Esquie

Each of them made this game alive. A movie is also in works in such a short time, you can assume how good it is.

Graphics wasn't upto the mark but it's completely alright.

Overall I wish we had more of these games. It made me as emotional as RDR2 did.

With this price point I think it's a steal.

We want this type of SP games more rather than low quality rapacious live service games

Found this game due to a friend's recommendation and thanks to almighty GAMEPASS!

I am not someone who can sit for hours patiently with an RPG unless it really connects - and this one seems fabulous. Still early stages for me (finished Flying Waters), but the combat and music are top notch.

Many hours to go but holy sh*t this is very impressive.
