A.Kap
Behold my fellow Broadband fans and lovers of all things UNLIMITED, the bong people at Airtel are all set to introduce their Fair Usage Policy; with the help of which they plan to redefine the word 'UNLIMITED' completely. Airtel, with the help of a retarded policy, are about to set indefinite LIMITS to their UNLIMITED Broadband plans by setting fixed caps. If and when the user's DL/UL traffic goes beyond that fixed QUOTA, the speed will automatically be reduced to half. Case in point being :-- As per information/emails received by customers from Airtel, the limit on unlimited plans are as follows: 128 kbps = 10 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 64kbps 256 kbps = 15 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 128kbps 384 kbps = 25 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 192kbps 512 kbps = 40 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 256kbps 1 Mbps = 50 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 512kbps Airtel users have confirmed that their speeds have been reduced to half of what their package promises. Here's a proof of the fact that this is indeed REAL and will come into practice in March :-- Source

kitson007
so if 512 gets 40 gig(which is decent)then how much will 384 get
lastAvenger
^ 25gig which is sad because if you have a 256kbps line and run it 24x7 in a month, u can do 50-60gigs+
