lithuvien
THIS IS NOT FAIR!! What have we done to deserve this. WHy is this even fair to us. I pay, I use. WHo the hell are they to reduce my speed? Thats it. No more airtel. Once my 6 months subscription gets over in May, I am switching over to something that won't come and tell me: "Oh. So sorry, but we have decided to cut down your speed as your filthy rich bastards are using way too much internet"
Aftrunner
Its a total farce. They have thses super high speed plans with stupid limits. Look at MTNL. What the f**k are you supposed to do with 2Mbps speed and a 500MB limit? You could be done with that in an hour. Then what? Bandwidth cant be that expensive so they are being cheap just to be cheap. The annoying f**ks.

_Hellsboy_
I aprove of this.It will help curb piracy.Seriously if you dont make use of torrents and all there is a VERY slim chance that your monthly usage goes beyond 10 gigs
Keyofx
This is exactly how a lot of the countries in the west work. Also, INSULT SWORDFIGHT!
A.Kap
This is exactly how a lot of the countries in the west work. Agreed, but they also happen to have a substantial amount of bandwidth to play with, which is clearly not the case in India.

Its not your fault that they give high quality rips but its your fault that you use piracy. Show me one person who doesnt pirate and his usage goes beyond 20-25 gb a month and I will curse airtel along with that person. As of now only pirates use the net so much. And they deserve their net to blow up let alone just reduce speed

_Hellsboy_
^^and you sir have never downloaded music from the web?? and axxo is not a torrent site its a dvd release group Yes I have.I am not saying I dont pirate, but I dont diss a company when they try to curb it.Personally I would love to have India a piracy free country. So that more people will buy original and their prices will go down faster
kitson007
yes i get what you're saying about india being piracy free but that going to happen is a very slim chance anyways so while its already prevalent why not reap the benefits...and i think you are right in whatever you are saying and i would also like to see a piracy free india but while its still prevalent why not reap the benefits

You are just forgetting the about 85 percent of the piracy is over the counter fake stuff. Not downloaded. So those 15 percent will simply move to over the counter stuff. Just a side note. What makes you think the lack of piracy will actually drive original material costs down?
NeoeN
Let them do this. But it is unfair, after i have exceeded their limited unlimited download plan, they HAVE to slash the price by half, or start billing me for the rest of the month with the subsidized price of that speed. Now that is fair and im all up for that. Cheating Users, and promising something then delivering something else is pure Bull. Currently i have downloaded 60GB for this month, and have yet to face the half speed issue. But when i do, i will be cancelling Airtel and spending more time at work. We, mere mortals are no match for your love towards the selfless, non profit, good for all companies like Sony, Paramount etc along with the Godly MPAA & RIAA.. Infact, you, sir, don't belong to this Earth.. You are way beyond us.. Your Highness, you need a better place.. With all due respect, may this be it.. PLANET OF THE....EVOLVED U see, your majesty that the picture even states the motto of MPAA & RIAA --> Rule the Planet.. I think its totally alright when they together sued various individuals for playing music on the street as everybody on the streets was able to listen to the music & their oh-so-hard earned money was lost ( as people would have bought the music cds otherwise).. I also think they were absolutely right when hey decided to sue small school going horrific idiotic good-for-nothing children when they used to watch children movies or cartoons at school as obviously they wouldnt purchase the same dvds for home viewing & their money was lost.. Oh i hail u your majesty.. U end our sorrows..!! As for Airtel, you are right. Why should we be getting Unlimited downloads.. we are leechers.. we destroy industries.. we rip off the good-for-all companies of their hard earned money.. even though their CEOs earn 10 times more than we do... You are right.. You, sir, are a retard !!
