and please learn to respect everyones opinion about their fav controller ...if they dont like the ds3 let them be and if you like the ds3 better, then good for you...kthxbye

the problem arises when people label their opinion as facts.. kthxbye

controller's main function is to help with game playing, not how easily someone can charge it. that's secondary. so nix the charging comparison.

x360 controller lacks fundamental design principle... symmetry.

What fundamental design principle? Just because the dual shock has symmetric analogue sticks, that doesn't make it the norm. Going by your logic, half of the d-pad should be exchanged with two of the face buttons.

4 dpad buttons are symmetrically oppsite to 4 action buttons in DS3. x360 controller's dpad is joke, we all know that.

** and its not about norm, its about giving equal hand to lefties.

I'm guessing your argument for symmetry is that it makes the controller favorable for both left-handed and right-handed people. That argument doesn't hold weight because as I see it the famed DS3 d-pad is used for all the fighting games and as last time I checked it was only on the left side of the controller.

Of course I may be entirely wrong and your case for symmetry might be that it makes the controller more photogenic. Well I'm not sure I can comment on that.

as per my experience having both of the consoles

i prefer ds3 for arcade fighting types games and any day sf4 player will prefer ds3 for comfort of using the d-pad of ps3...

and xbox360 controllers for playing racing games.....

one more thing There is a lot of differnce while playing with LB and LT of xbox360 is not much confortable as compared to PS3.r1 and r2.
