shaiTaaNi billi Posted April 3, 2008 Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 ^^ i though about that too....but since we're gonna have a 1-game donation to become eligible, i suspect the list of eligible members will be quite small....in the begining at least peace hmm i highly doubt that coz donating one game for most members isn't a big deal (as many of the games are never played again by them), lets see how many members comes ahead to make this a hit. As you all can probably see, we are in the process of starting the GI library. Here are some rules and regulations we have thought of: 1. Only members with 500+ posts will be eligible to use the library. That doesnt mean anyone with 500 posts is eligible. We will pick members from this group based on their reputation across the forum and particularly in the Trading Post. Who is and isnt alllowed in the library might become a little controversial, and although who should be in or out is open to discussion, the final decision will rest with mods/admins. There will however be exceptions to the 500-post rule. Those members with good feedback in the Trading Post or regular participation in IVG Offers can be included. 2. Each member will have to donate a game of their choice to the library be eligible to use the library. 3. There will be no exchange of money involved. The person who donates the game will courier the game to the first borrower and bear the costs. That borrower will then courier to the next, and so on. 4. Each borrower must report the condition of the disk/case when he receives a game so that if there is any misuse or damage, we ascertain how or in whose posession it happened 5. If there is more than one member interested in borrowing a game, a list will be randomly created and members will be alotted the game based in that order 6. Each borrower will keep the game for 15 days to 1 month. This is open to discussion.
