pixeljunkie Posted May 26, 2017 Report Share Posted May 26, 2017 (edited) Regarding the slow threads, i think MySQL is particularly slow when running queries similar to the one below on weak hardware SELECT * FROM [Table Name] WHERE ThreadId = 123456 ORDER BY id DESC LIMIT 30; Note: This is not the actual SQL query and probably a nested query inside the actual complex query.Where ThreadId = 123456 only represents threads that exceeds 60,000 individual post records. Is it possible to temporarily disable the ability to search for members and guests? Can you disable search for a few days in order to assess the performance impact please? And I really liked it because Opera Mini is very light and simple to use. I have tried Chrome and also Safari, also did password reset multiple times but when I fill in the login details I keep getting the incorrect details error.But able to access the forum from Tapatalk without any problem. SonicDave Posted October 15, 2017 Report Share Posted October 15, 2017 I should've posted this long ago (laziness smh) but the recent forum update broke it's compatibility with Opera Mini. I really like Opera Mini as it compress data, something which is limited for me. Also browsing and posting was very swift. It was really VERY FAST and it's not an exaggeration. I currently use Chrome and can't say it's the best. Sure it's 99% compatible but posting replies is kind of a pain especially with quotes.
