godspeed4476
Yup, I think a dedicated mod for the Library wouldn't be a bad idea to make sure rules are abided by. And stricter rules too. I believe someone broke one of the library game discs (SFIV?).peace I have been ranting about a dedicated Mod for quite a long time, iand as Afty suggested the library members should give their numbers mobile and landline to the mod. I have borrowed from library quite a few times and most of the time it took a long while and lot of effort to get the game. My suggestion for rule is : 1. Sending of the game to next members should be mentioned in the thread compulsory, just a PM to the member is not good the game belongs to IVG library not members 2. Acknowledgement of receiving the game, so that other members know whom to contact to get the game. 3. If a member does not responds to the Pm's and phone calls without any genuine reason then they must be banned from the library. 4. If a member breaks or damages the game disc to an extent that it is not playable, then they must replace the same with a identical copy
Somebody
^^ one warning and a ban if repeated is a better idea instead of an outright ban.
supersim
some of the vendors creating a new thread for selling each game. it getting too crowded in the vendors section. imagine if every vendor starts creating his thread for each and every single game new rule needs to be enforced one vendor one thread jk they could bundle all their software in one , hardware in the other

Somebody
as bulovski or someone mentioned, there should be only two threads per vendor, one for software and one for hardware initially. But, if they are doing any pre-orders then they should be able to create a thread for that game. slimy ?
Somebody
how abt unpinning the 'Folding@home' thread from the Techzone forum.... there are way too many pinned threads over there. Aftrunner
how abt unpinning the 'Folding@home' thread from the Techzone forum.... there are way too many pinned threads over there. Even the 'How many ps3s, x360s and Wii's' threads... +1 Also pin the PC ask the experts thread. Its the most used thread in there anyway. In fact only 3 threads in there should be fine. 1 Xbox general queries, PS3 general queries and PC ask the experts. Maybe the gaming PC's one too. Most other stuff is pointless and doesnt belong in Techzone anyway.
TechGuitar
Why is the IVG clock exactly one hour ahead of IST ?

Aftrunner
Its showing the right time in my browser. Maybe there is an option where you have to select a time zone and you kinda selected someplace else? Edit: Yup. Click on My controls on top. Then click on Board settings on the bottom left and see which timezone you have got selected. Edited November 12, 2009 by Aftrunner

TechGuitar
@afty..you were partially right. After clicking at the IST zone...the time now shown is correct. Strange thing is it was the same time zone earlier as well. Anyways thanks for the help mate !
ThE JuGgErNaUT
New here, so maybe dont know of all the features yet.... anyway, was trying to search for Batman [the game]in the trading section.....but along with the relevant thread, also got post made by people using same/similar login names. suggestions:- Maybe we cld have a small adv search option which segregates the searching of post titles n contents from member names. might cut thru a LOT of manual labour sifting thru. In case this exists....batao pls
Somebody
^^ the most effective way to find threads, atleast for me, is to go to whatever forum you want to look in (for ex. Trading Post) and then type the keywords in the bottom left of the page. That usually gives me what I'm looking for.
Bulovski
There's an advanced search feature - link on the header on the top right. Quick search on the top left searches for thread titles
