ColorCodePurple Posted June 22, 2010 Report Share Posted June 22, 2010 (edited) Aim of the Suggestion:To prevent scammers/spammers and other people to make an alternative acc thereby getting rid of the negative feedback given to them Suggestion:Make a new section in profile called 'shipping address' filling this section is mandatory for all accounts who want to access the TP.This address will be tied to the TP account and cannot be deleted however if someone is shifting it can go to 'Former address' section on request by mods.Further more another section called 'Alternative shipping address can also be made. Effect:Since there arent many people having multiple properties,shipping address for the most part remains one.So you cannot make alternative ID's with the same shipping address and it prevents a TP scam. Suggestion:Make a new section in profile called 'shipping address' filling this section is mandatory for all accounts who want to access the TP.This address will be tied to the TP account and cannot be deleted however if someone is shifting it can go to 'Former address' section on request by mods.Further more another section called 'Alternative shipping address can also be made.Obviously making the address visible is not a good idea on a public forum but how about just making it mandatory for people to add their shipping address in their account if they want to access the TP. Maybe the seller can request to view the shipping address registered and the request can be denied/accepted by the buyer/mods. For years I have used my US office address for all transactions in there. (PSN / itunes) The best way not to be scammed is to be careful. If a deal is too good to be true, it usually is not genuine.
