Zod Posted April 21, 2025 Report Share Posted April 21, 2025 (edited) The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is out today for Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam and the Xbox App for Windows PC), cloud, and all other current gen consoles. It's available day one with Game Pass, and is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. All the new changes - Graphics - These are all of the graphical changes in Oblivion Remastered. A total graphical overhaul, built on Unreal Engine 5 New character models New enemy models New environmental assets New equipment models A new, dynamic lighting system. Gameplay Completely new movement animations. Improved third-person camera. You can now sprint. New combat animations. New on-hit animations to give combat more impact. Improved aiming with bows. Character Progression - These are all of the changes that have been made to how your character grows stronger in Oblivion Remastered. New character creator with completely new models. New levelling system. Audio New voicework across the game, in addition to a lot of the old voicework Remastered soundtrack. User Interface. These are all of the changes tied to menus and the broader user interface in Oblivion Remastered. This sort of dated & clunky design won’t find any meaningful audience at full MRP. Will be in bargain dirt cheap bin in no time. Just hold your patience on spending full Day1 MRP.
