Free upgrade! :first: I hope they announce the remaining titles as well!

BTW, I remember getting free keys for the whole franchise when I bought the UE on MS Store, but a couple of them didn't work for some reason. Should I contact M$ or is it too late?

A remaster of a remake? They learn from the best

Remake was for Xbox one only 30fps 1080p using UE4.

This will have 4k60 remade/enchanced again using UE5. Both games use different engine

Also, Its free for Ultimate Edition owners. Ofcourse on gamepass as well. No 10$ upgrade required. You cant complain about it.

And this is New for PS5 and Switch 2 owners.

Hope so! I'd be VERY interested in buying something like the Series S for modest 1440p@30fps gaming as I'm getting tired of maintaining my PC, worrying about temps, bad ports, searching for optimised settings and what not!

Yeah, ready made console like PC at subsidized price with option to upgrade parts like gpu, ram and all.

Gears 2 & 3 are inevitable now.

But yeah all games should have been simultaneous in one big collection & separate purchases.

This feels rushed to be honest since this port was ready for PC.

Gears 2 & 3 would require redevelopment since they were never released Outside of XB360 hardware.

But yeah even Gears D-Day is inevitable for Playstation.

WTF

I have been waiting for Gears 2 and 3 to PC or other platforms for more than a decade since these 2 games never released on other platforms and they decided to do 1st part remake which was already remade on PC

Give me trilogy

Rumoured to be announced in June 2025: https://gamerant.com/gears-of-war-collection-rumor-no-multiplayer-good-bad/

How different is this game from warhammer 40,000 the latest one?

Don't tell me you haven't played Gears of War, like ever?

GeOW belongs to some of the best series gaming industry ever produced. It's incomparable to Warhammer. Warhammer doesn't even have a cover based mechanism which is symbolic to the GeOW series.

Please launch 2 and 3 on PC. I'll play full price!

The Cover System is the major difference.

Also there is no elaborate melee system.

Also it’s much more grounded in-terms of enemies thrown at you at once.

It’s a 20 year old design.

remaster of a remake of the ultimate edition of gears 1

Even Ultimate Edition was a hybrid of a Remaster & a Remake.

It didn’t change the gameplay or the animations one bit.
