It’s exactly the same as the original Gears 1.

Coz Ultimate Edition was exactly the same.

 

It didn’t have anything different or changed except the Graphics Engine.

 Multiplayer already felt way better in ultimate edition than original thanks to UE4enhancements, improved animations, faster 60 fps and better netcode

 

Reloaded Multiplayer runs at 120fps with UE5 upgrades.  So expect much smoother experience.

Unlikely. Does not make sense to announce Gears 1 remaster and a collection separately. If they announce a collection in June prior to August release then no one will buy Gears 1 remaster.

A collection will happen but not so soon. I think they will release Remake/Remasters for each iteration separately for maximum payout.

Gears E-day is far far away.

If there was any chance of remastering Gears 2 & 3 & finally launch it on new systems….it’s now.

 

Also even if they don’t bother with that effort,Gears 4 & 5 are simple porting job just like this one.

^^Already posted in PS5 thread. I clearly said gameplay still feels same and AI is same in campaign, but multiplayer feels modern and much smoother animation that we had in Gears 4 and on top of it, game was 60fps too in multiplayer which made it feel significantly better.

 

I have played Gears Ultimate Edition and original 360 version back to back. Ultimate Edition is original Gears made with new and improved technology.  Its not RE4 level of remake where whole game is made from scratch. Its more like Last of Us 1 level of Remake with all cutscenes redone from scratch with new improved characters models and overall graphics  improved compared to original using improved  Unreal engine  tools.

 

Reloaded is nothing but ultimate edition further enhanced at 4k60 with extra bells and whistles. 

 

 

Reloaded will include all DLCs maps and new skins made and Gears 3 progression system.

Its funny how some ponies are purposely trying to downplay the game by spreading false information. I have played the game on my tv. I dont need to YT comparison to know if it's Remake or not.

Redone Gameplay 

Redone AI

Redone Physics 

Redone Animations within gameplay (not cutscenes).

 

It was a hybrid of Remake & Remaster because of only graphical overhauls…just like Halo MCC.

 

And Neither did I downplay it’s launch back in 2014 nor am I doing it now.

Just stating facts for ppl who want to know.

Its remake like last of us 1 not RE4.  Last of us had cutscenes redone and some gameplay elements were tweaked and made smoother. 60fps performance made huge difference. It was not RE4 style remake.

It was on 360 but died once Gears 3 came out. 

 

 

Ultimate Edition Gears Multiplayer was popular then it died down after Gears 5 came out.

 

Gears 5 MP still active and you can find players without any problem. Only hardcore fans play it on PC and Xbix via crossplay.

It was 4v4 in comparison to 5v5 the later games had.

 

Maps were pretty basic & much smaller with no Co-operative horde mode.

 It was popular for it’s time but foolish to give that to ppl in 2025 when Gears 5 exists & literally dying in lobbies.

Who said its remake from scratch? Did u even read my post? 

 

 

 

It got complete visual overhaul with new graphics assets and character models, completely redone cutscenes in campaign. I clearly told u that gameplay wise, Campaign plays same with same AI is same but in multiplayer you will feel smoother gunplay and animations.  Gunplay was more like Gears 3 in Ultimate edition than original Gears, plus faster frame rate and new dedicated servers made Gears ultimate edition multiplayer vastly superior to Gears 3. It was basically Gears 3 multiplayer repackaged in ultimate edition at faster frame rate wity better visuals. 

 

 

Audio is improved as well and it uses dolby atmos 7
