Only fool here is you. I clearly said in terms of animation and gunplay changes were made. You clearly don't read properly.

Multiplayer obviously is not 1 to 1 recreation of Gears 3, but all new modes in Gears 3 along with enhanced gunplay and tweaked cover system which was used in Gears 3, all were incorporated in the Ultimate Edition and all of that at 60fps 1080p using dedicated servers makes it way more modern than 360 counterparts.

Original Gears never used dedicated servers

Just read any review of Ultimate edition

Polygon -

Gears Ultimate is one of the smoothest-controlling games I've ever played -

The Coalition has held the multiplayer experience less sacrosanct than the campaign, choosing to make minor inclusions like eight-way rolling — the original game only allowed for forward, back, left and right — and some traversal elements that appeared in later games. In this way, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition's multiplayer feels more aware of modern multiplayer expectations than its single-player element.

While the presentation has been upped significantly, it's the gameplay itself that's been treated to several important overhauls, although those can be easily overlooked by anyone that has forgotten how the original played. These aren't radical changes, mind you, but they do help the game feel more fluid. Now players are able to target enemies, utilize the Tac-Com to see where their allies are, revive teammates while behind cover, and stick to cover much more easily thanks to these tweaks. These are present throughout the campaign and online modes, but these changes really become noticeable once in Gears of War: Ultimate Edition's multiplayer mode.

Of course, there are also a pair of multiplayer modes present in the game that weren't featured in the Xbox 360 original, and they appear in the form of Team Deathmatch and King of the Hill. These make for enjoyable changes of pace from the tried and true Execution multiplayer, but the real hook of this iteration is the leveling system. Much like later iterations of the series, leveling up one's online profile will earn them unlockables. This ranges from characters that appear later in the series to funky and fun-filled takes on classic characters in different attire, and longtime fans will appreciate the challenge of earning them.

******

Campaign got complete visual and audio overhaul with same gameplay and AI.

Multiplayer-  Changes were made to gunplay, character movement animations, cover system and Multiplayer modes and last netcode to make it feel more modernise. Its common sense, people will not enjoy 360 Gears todau without some changes. 360 version feels clunky today.

Visuals were improved in Multiplayer but less compared to Campaign. Campaign got massive visual upgrade.

Saaley read whole post. Stop cherry picking.

Repackaged in terms of modes, skill based matchmaking with dedicated servers, gunplay changes, tweaked to cover system progression system and unlocks, and new execution along with meat shield moves which were in Gears 3.

And you asked about meat shield.  So here u go.

Yes, the "meat shield" mechanic, a way to use downed enemy AI characters as a shield, is available in Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.

Not in Multiplayer which you were talking about.

Google AI is no source &

not right all the time, just watch the videos:-

The reviewer clearly states that the only upgrade over original is the ability to revive from cover & the chainsaw animation being able to be interrupted.

No other gameplay change whatsoever.

In downed state only “Execution” option is available by pressing X & no option to press B & take meat shield.

Stop using AI as your info sources & start arguing….you clearly don’t remember squat about the actual game.

That video is whole lot of nothing. Did you bother reading review links i posted in previous page where they extensively talk about gameplay tweaks to cover system, running animations, mantling along with other changes? Clearly NOT.

As far as meatshield option in Gears then i will install  Gears ultimate and check myself later coz i clearly remember option to pick enemy showed up with A while holding pistol or hand cannon not other weapons. In Gears 3 it was separate option regardless of which weapons you holding.

AI is used by everyone. Im not gonna sit and watch videos from YT to prove my point.

Well we just have to wait till August & the servers will be live again.

If it’s exact remaster of Ultimate Edition then Meat shield will be absent from Multiplayer atleast.

Doodh ka Doodh aur pani ka pani ho jayega…..

Although Gears 3 had a lot of upgrades like

-Staggering enemy from cover.

-Tagging a grenade on meat Shield

-Running towards enemy with melee dash

-Different kinds of grenades

-New Weapons

Saying that it was Gears 3 repackaged was always baffling…

Yes, you better buy the game and play the game before you start bashing it.

I can respect people being critical about something after playing the game and experiencing it themselves.

No one was bashing….im just saying the truth of what it is.

You are the one exaggerating things without even a single memory of anything & Using AI as source just for the sake of exaggeration!!

looks absolutely sh*t.  We have TLOU part 2, GOW, Forbidden West,RDR2,Horizon5. Who will want to play with such dated visuals?

More than visuals the design is super duper dated.

This should have been packaged with Gears 5 & released for $80.

I’m guessing Gears 2 & 3 will take time to port from XB360 to modern hardwares that’s why they released it as stand alone & not with Gears 5 as releasing them one by one chronologically makes more sense for new players.

Thats old 6 or 7 year old video of Xbox one version. Its not reloaded version video. Description aur video details toh check kar.

Reloaded footage is not revealed yet.  Reloaded version is further enhanced  with new Unreal Engine tools for current gen consoles at native 4k60, its bound to look much better.

All Gears will be released individually  each at 50-60$ a pop. MS not gonna bundle em. They want to make maximum money.

Forza Horizon 5 - 4 year old game enjoalready sold million on PS5. Gears reloaded will sell big.  Lot of 360 gamers who migrated to PS4/5 are nostalgic about Gears and Halo. So these games will sell big.

Now obviously hardcore ponies will bash these games but at same time, they will buy and play these games dayone lol

This is $40

I see no reason for Gears 2 & 3 to be a cent more.

Unless they remake it from ground up like Last Of Us Part 1 or Demon Souls.

I highly doubt they have time for that as studio busy on D-Day.

4 maybe $50 & 5 maybe $60 just like Forza 5.

D-Day will be $80 on PS5.
