So then if I opted for USA as my country during my PSN registration, doesn't that mean I fall under Region A and thus will only connect with folks from Region A in games like UC:2 (If I opt for Matchmaking (Random Players))?

I dont know the online matchmaking procedure, but i think u always connect to the nearest server from ur ISP. So mostly likely u will end up in an Asian server.

I thought he was asking about our "actual" location. :P But just send a friend request and play, together, period. If u got a good net conection, u dont need to worry about all this stuffs.

Nah, I wasn't enquiring about the actual physical locations :P

Anyway, I'm glad I can still keep playing using my US registered PSN ID, all my trophies are on that ID!

Nope , India comes under Europe and reigon B :P I dunno why !

According to the Sony website and Wiki - India falls under Region C.

Links: Link 1, Link 2

Although I have to admit, the games that I have are all coded "2" - the one's that I've purchased locally.

How does that work then?

WTF!!!! is going on i saw a lot of guys cribbing about BF3 dload being corrupted

& now when i installed GOW GOS the install didn't complete...it said data was corrupted

this has never happened to me before :wallbash:

9 gb got waisted dloading it again....will it happen again :O

Was there a powercut or any internet failure while downloading ?

Did you pause the download at any instance while downloading ?

yes to both

but it happens almost all the time i have dloaded games from PSN....never faced this issue before

my old ps3 never had any such problem...i'v had multiple power cuts, outages, pauses & what not

pauses don't cause any problem but if during the download the download there is a power cut or network failure there are chances of data getting corrupted :)

which other games you downloaded got corrupted ? :scratchchin:

try downloading a game and pause the download before there is a powercut ,i think the data won't get corrupted

Sorry If I am asking this question in a wrong thread ..

Am not sure whether to go for PSN Plus or not. Can someone using it be kind enough to give pro's and con's.

Only good for casual gamers (due to the monthly free PSN game and a few free minis). I have been using it for the last 6-8 months and have only saved some 300 odd rupees from the discounted dlc. Pretty convenient though with automatic patch and system updates, trophy sync and cloud saves. I use it and will continue to do so, primarily because my 5 & 7 year old nephews have something new to play every month.

Really like the idea of the 12 deals for this month. Something to look forward to every couple of days. Little Big Planet going for 1600 and inclusive of some level kits and popular costumes. Even less for Plus subscribers.

Hopefully they can give us some good deals for games I dont have. :threatenlumber:
