I have decided to move away from gaming (for the most part) and more particularly social media to pursue other hobbies/plans. It has been 17 long years since I joined IVG in 2008 and started with the first PC game that is Command and Conquer. Not only IVG but also the gaming industry has impacted me during these years especially the Xbox 360/PS3 era. Thank you for the great memories. Though it is wishful thinking at this point, I genuinely hope IVG becomes better and bigger in the future. Indians need a platform to discuss gaming in India even though it has not grown much as we wanted. Godspeed and wish you all the best, IVG bros. I might be back later but taking a break. My personal message to the IVG owner - Sell or transfer this site to someone who actually cares and wants it to grow to something special. I can also join with other senior members to manage it, which ever saves the site. P.S: I have hosting experience of 15+ years with clients as old as 9 years running their business with my service, so I can manage the hosting easily. Ads don’t bring Footfall…..also I’m talking about gaming forums specifically. Discord with it’s one stop all integration towards gaming accounts & interactions has become the hot spot for gaming communities & you have endless servers for all your preferred genres & games. It’s totally a evolution issue rather than anything else. All new gen gamers are going to discord rather than gaming forums for all social needs. They are thriving through Trade Posts of massive PS5 & some Nintendo Games. It’s discord which is killing forums….nothing else. And it is across the globe.
