He says-"They fly off the shelves, sir." I say-"These mostly look old." He replies- "Arey these in front are only for display, we have all the latest ones behind the shelves. You talk about GTA 4, we have GTA Punjab." WTF??????????????? GTA Punjab? I say-"What? What the hell is that?" He says-"Its the latest GTA." I say-"Dude, no way!!!! At most it might be something fake...but there is no GTA Punjab. Last one was GTA IV and there is only one more expansion, only for 360 called Lost and Damned." He is adamant, says he will show. I say OK. He goes behind, takes out a lot of pirated games, and then shows GTA Punjab to me. The pic is GTA style, with cuts of pics of Punjab and Punjab written in Vice City font. I am like...WTF???????????????????????? I say-"Dude, there is no way this is real. Its some fake or some bullshit. I am so much in gaming that its my life, and I am so damn sure that there is no way such a legitimate game is there." He says-"Boss I am selling games from past 10 years and its legitimate, I tell you. Even I didn't believe when first customer asked me about it. but then he showed me on the net that such a game exists. I booted it, and I saw tractors running and Punjabis dancing. Its true." Now we all know how much shopkeepers in India actually know about gaming (especially those who sell pirated stuff), but I didn't want to offend him and knew that he wont accept that it was fake cause there was this pic. So I said that dude I'll show you discussions and my searches on net. I told him that I do discuss and read about latest games in the net every single day. But he didnt accpet it. So guys, WTH was that? Anybody has any idea? Oh Oh Oh......found the pic!!!!!! Just the PS2 logo wasnt on the pic he showed. WTF???????????????? Fire Wolf Posted March 7, 2009 Report Share Posted March 7, 2009 Yeah pirateers do a lot of sick sh*t like this. One time a friend of mine spotted a copy of "Cricket 09" that had T20 mode lol. That's not entirely fake, though. It's EA Cricket 07 with IPL+T20 patches. Though I do remember, a fair few years back, Smackdown 7 and Smackdown 8 for the PC bewing available in Palika, when you installed the games they turned out to be Smackdown 1 or 2 to be played on included emulators . You finally reach your objective which tells you to travel halfway across the city for something. You drive for two mins and then get stuck in a jam. You decide its better to take the metro so you get out of your car..... and bam you are run over by a blue line. You revive at a hospital and hijack a rikshaw to take you to your destination.
