Daedalus
EG says that grinding doesn't come in till later in the game. Good review there. And how exactly does IGN come to its final rating? It seems rather arbitrary. 8.3?
Daedalus
Auto-pilot battle - what.the.fk Even having it as an option reeks of stupidity. 60 hours I know right? You might be dead by then. /Shudders /inappropriate
CarbonCore
So they cut points 'cause its not like previous FF games? Bravo

Its not by Sony and don't expect a demo for this. The only thing you can understand from it is the graphics/sound/battle system anyway and all of them are good. CarbonCore
Auto-pilot battle - what.the.fk Persona 3 also had that option. Its one way to end the battle without running away from it. 60 hours Not your typical wrpg
KeezNah
auto-pilot isn't something new to ff series in general, actually. its a moot point
Noctis
auto-pilot has been there in many traditional jrpgs. But its usually just melee attacks and not very effective unless against lower level enemies.

Bulovski
I am ranting because 60 hours is on the low side. Oblivion / DAO / FO3 can be made to last 60 hours without breaking much of a sweat - even the later FF editions. Considering that FF XIII is what RPG fans were waiting for this gen for 3 years I would consider 60 hours of linearity being gypped. I am going to reserve judgement till I play it though - because EG is usually harsh on newer RPGs. GS are usually good, and RPGamer is nice. MarketTantrik
The DF article is excellent. Dumb Squeenix is FAIL. Anyways, its not like I was kicked about this. The PS3 version should be on TP within two weeks of release

Daedalus
Apparently, free roaming and exploration lasts for all of one stage. And the EG review has been the best so far, not really harsh. Can't believe I have to play the 360 version.
Bulovski
its more 25 hours linear, and then things open up after that. No - not by much. I don't mind the first 25 hours of linearity if the rest of the game really opens up - apparently it doesn't.
KnackChap
that sentence makes no sense kc holy crap, just read it. WTF did i post mobile browsing FTL actually what i wanted to say is, if you take too long to kill off the enemies, they cast a death spell on you. i dunno if timer based or only applies to boss characters.
