People are curious to know what the first party devs accomplish on the Sony hardware, ex infamous, kz2, uncharted 2, ratchet ( this was not hyped ) demon souls ( again no hype ) killzone 2 singleplayer was very underwhelming as saha said but mp turned out to be pretty good. god of war 3, GT5, Agent etc seem so damn exciting :\ Batman AA was hyped in IVG too. 360 hype machine will start again in 2010, when alan wake, conviction, reach etc cme. Ok so I've said this again and again but Conviction amd ME2 are not 360 exclusives. Alan Wake, yes. Crackdown 2, yes. And if Halo Reach is released, then that too but not the other ones. I don't understand why people are hell bent on calling those two games "exclusives' when they're coming out on the PC as well. I've seen so many fkin lists on net listing those two as Upcoming 360 exclusives. WTF is wrong with people? Do they choose to ignore the PC?? Hears of Iron 3, Empire Total War (how can you miss this) , Order of War, Cryostatis and some PC exclusive RPGs. These are just the games that comes to my mind, Im sure there are plenty of others I missed out. Edit: 9.0 score at GS is not the definition of a AAA game. Forza 3 is probably almost as good as (if not better) than how GT5 will turn out. ODST was an awesome game. Then again, it's Halo, so for most people it was a no-brainer. It would have got much more hype if it was an exclusive for the other platform. Halo Wars was not everyone's cup of tea. Demon's Souls was hyped. If the difficulty wasn't blown out of proportion by gaming journalists, no one would have even bothered about the game. Considering it's an action RPG. Agree about R&C. It's a niche title. Some people absolutely love it, others don't care. And don't even get me started on PC games. There are so many awesome games that come out for the PC which most people don't even end up hearing about. As for what "the PS3 can do or cannot do". I honestly don't give two shits about that. And it goes for other systems as well. I can play a 10 year old game and still enjoy it more than today's games. Seriously, give me a good game and I'm happy. I didn't want to argue with you ty but lol i have never seen people talk about those games atall, no hype. but in each and every screenshot thread, crysis owns everything, I want crysis type quality games on PC since i spent 80k upgrading last year and those have dried up in 2009. The way i see , if it is on the XBOX 360 & PC and not on the PS3 , then the XBOX360 is the "only console" it can be played on. For a guy who has to choose between either of the consoles this matters a lot. There are many poeple who dont have high end rigs and chipsets, those people wont even consider the PC for gaming. For that reason the XBOX 360 is the only CONSOLE which has MASS EFFECT2 , LEFT4DEAD2 and Splinter Cell Conviction. If these cannot be listed as exclusives then the 360 isnt getting credit where it deserves. In fact the way I see it, the PS3 owns the 360 next year as far as exclusives are concerned with just GoW III. I THINK NOT!!! . PS3 has GOD OF WAR 3, Heavy Rain and GT5 . these are the "only" good exclusivess i can think of. But how do those stack up against MASS EFFECT2 (once again 360 is the console it can be played on) Alan Wake Crackdown2 Splinter Cell Conviction HALO REACH Fable3 METRO 2033 The way i see it, the 360 is going to own the PS3 next year as far as exclusives are concerned. Especially when there is a new HALO game coming out next year. you may not like HALO but there are a whole lot of people out there who love HALO and are huge fans of the series (incl myself ) and that game always has huge sales in the first day. HALO3 sold a lot more copies on its first day than what killzone2 has sold in the last 8 months , Even HALO3 ODST has better sales than killzone2.
