dante77
Firstly, it's not survival horror. And secondly, this is not a typical free-roaming game. The story is still very linear. By free-roaming they simply mean that you can explore the town for collectibles, audio logs, etc.peace Now that is some relief. I thought it will be like GTA. Still, its not coming to PC oh and yeah, its not a survival horror game. Ithink exploring will similar to POP 2008 and Darksiders.

shockwave
Admit it folks. This is going to set new benchmarks in graphics. And before somebody comes in running, this isn't linear.
Aftrunner
If they can do even semi open levels with that level of visual details it would be really impressive.

I think these are extremely processed visuals! I mean is the xbox 360 even capable of rendering these visuals?

devil_angel
^^^^^ Oh really? Take a good look at the second shot..... Do you really think that the end product would be rendered like that with good framerate in the 360..... I'm as hyped and expecting Alan Wake as any, but this looks rather too good to be real don't you think?
Assassins Creed
nowadays 360 games are looking good ,and for those who want pc version  360 games always looked better... its just tht PS3 xclusives look better but take any multiplatform game period, 360 version has always had an edge ovr ps3 version, and with AW 360 can match up to UC2 visuals... So Uncharted 2's visuals were being streamed live from remote PCs in Sony's datacenter while you were playing the game?

devil_angel
All I'm trying to say is if there is as much detail as in the shots then there will surely be draw distace issues as in GTA 4 with the 360 and vice versa..... c'mon MT.....UC2 is a ps3 title.....How can we compare it with the 360's performance.....
