Karooo Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 Playstation 3 has proved to be a better console Since the MGS4 release which changed its fortunes Online : PS3 : Free Online, with faster download speeds and average online player is 18~24 (according to Nielsen), and specially Dedicated servers for lag free gaming.. living in india doesn't help though. 360 : Online gaming is with a fee, It does not have dedicated servers and the main game of 360, Gears 2 lags big time and the average player on Live is 13~17. Cross chat and party system. (firmware 2.7 ps3 will have it) PS3 : Allows you to play most movie formats, Blu-ray disks, install Linux and supports 7.1 sound setup. 360 : Allows you to play some movie formats, no HD-material because HD-DVD died and only supports 5.1 sound. PS3 : Failure rate is 0.03% on the launch models and even less on the newer 80/160 models. 360 : Failure rate is up to 33% on the older models with no HDMI port and around 9% with the newest Jasper motherboards. PS3 : Has games like : Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid 4, WarHawk, Flower, GT 5 Prologue, Heavenly Sword, MotorStorms, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2, Ratchet and Clanks, Wipeout HD, Yakuza 3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Valkyria chronicles. 360 : Has games like : Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Banjo Kazooie, Dead or Alives, Crackdown. These are only exclusives, PS3 has most multiplats that the 360 has too. These games mentioned on consoles were all exclusive and I listed only playable titles, not some crap like Forza 2 (X360) or Haze (PS3). Halo wars and Lair which got 6.5 in Gamespot are fun but critics say they are mediocre games.. meh. PS3 : To be released : inFamous, Heavy Rain, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, God of War 3, GT 5, White Knight Chornicles, Uncharted 2. Many many unannounced games... 360 : To be released : Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Halo ODST. so, u can see from my comparison that, PS3 absolutely destroys the 360. Remember, Sasta hamesha baad mein mehnga padtha hai Its ok, if u already have a 360 console like me, but people who want to buy a new console and never bought any console before should obviously buy a PS3. It sucks..its a total borefest. Its also very urealistic for all the "its a sim" bull**** that you hear. Cars will hit walls and do 180s pissing you off going against newtonian physics. Also if you go a few inches off the road you will magically hit quicksand and even though you are going 90mph stop to a near crawl. There are many other things where you as a player are punished by the game making all the realism go away. The graphics are also pretty poor it today's day and age and there is no cockpit view like in PGR or TDU. Also you can't make any money selling your cars in career which is frustrating and are forced to go online to do that. Also to get any decent looking customization on your car expect to spend 20 hours painting. There are very few limited tracks and the game is really boring to play and gets old fast. It way way overhyped. There has also been zero improvment from the first game. Its an exact copy of the first in every respect. Nothing new whatsoever was added in the gameplay department or in career. No new tracks, no new features, no new challanges. They actually took things out like the point to point races.
