Dbz_479 Posted June 15, 2012 Report Share Posted June 15, 2012 ^^gameplay effed ?I am playing Max payne 2 at the moment & it is so similar to MP3 that inspite of graphics,i want to finish.Only differences i noted where no last stand,Pain killers only increase a part of the blood & not whole & MP3 seriously missed that stylish Max Payne 360 degree Rotation during bullet time...........its pretty epic.but the setting was very different,MP3 is not a Noir shooter,Its a gritty,violent take on Max's life. I can understand the complaints of it not feeling like Max Payne in style and storytelling (which are correct IMO) but there is absolutely nothing wrong with gameplay. Its the Max Payne we love and cover is a welcome addition to the series without compromising anything. Seriously, in a era where sequels DmC, TR, SC gets f**ked. This is the best! The quirky TV shows, the random bizarre levels (remember Mona's funhouse, those red line dream sequences), the tongue in cheek humor and the odd breaking of the fourth wall. Instead it feels like a Rockstar game. Gritty, "realistic", sardonic humor and nothing too weird or out of place. Its like if Kill Bill 1 was made by Quentin Tarantino and the sequel was done by by Martin Scorsese. Neither of those two are bad but you cant pass off one as a true sequel to another. I just can't complaint, I think they their best and pretty much succeed. Completed both games multiple times...... ok, leave loading stuff......What abt the gameplay? .Whole gameplay is f**ed.......You have not played previous MP games that's why you are liking it....Go play them first nd then try MP3.. ...You will see the difference right there.... Neo, if you are enjoying it then good for you but i hate it..It's nothing like Max payne that i played and loved ..Only thing iam liking is multiplayer what the @#$% .... in what way is the gameplay effed ? And dont assume that just because someone likes MP3, he's not played MP1 ! I've played the first max payne, and the only thing i missed in this game is the noir style/comic book narration and well some quirky one liners .... but not once did I feel that the game play in MP3 is inferior to MP1 in anyway ! You are fully entitled to your opinion for not liking the game, but to say stuff just for the sake of it - like gameplay is effed .... its just plain stupid ! I don't care you like it or not but i hate everything abt Max Payne 3 (except M.P) ....It's incredibly boring with no variety at all...RDR is only good game from R* this gen imo.. ...MP3 feels super linear and controlled...There are far too many cutscenes which constantly takes control away from you ..2-3 mins of shooting then 4-5 long cutscene ..It goes like this till the end. ...I really enjoyed first few hours but then it became boring & repetitive pretty fast . Big Boss Posted June 15, 2012 Report Share Posted June 15, 2012 How to skip boring cutscenes in Max Payne 3 PC version this doesn't actually work since for whatever reason when you skip the movies, when the gameplay starts the HUD doesn't render, along with health, crosshair, pickup prompts, button prompts, rendering the game unplayable.
