Died once in chapter 11 cuz of a stupid mistake, then game crased twice once after chapter 5 n at the beginning of 5, so pissed off right now, f**king R* kyun khel raha hai ye ghatiya game? Game is total badass with dope gunplay , no two ways about it . The writing, characters, n story is sh*t though, looks like the writers made a game out of the spoof show of Dick Justice in MP1 n 2 Story was tight till chapter 9 , later on it was dragged , not as strong as Max Payne 1 & 2 but acceptable . Game has one of the best quotes in video gaming history man , writing was not at all sh*t . Although the writing in Max Payne 1 was much better but MP3 too did a good job not a sh*t job . Gunplay wise 3rd is far better than both and yeah overall 1 & 2 are better . Vanquish is a very different type of game with a very different approach to shooting, it doesnt give you the precision that max payne 3 offers and is more about fast and fluid chaining combos like an action game. Whats more, a single level form the previous games will have more quotable quotes than you can find in this whole game. The writing was what you had expect from the writer of GTA games and nothing more. The previous games had so many great characters, hell, even the mini-bosses type villains who made their appearances only once or twice had such magnificent build up to them that it felt so satisfying when you finally put them down, this game, on the other hand, has serrano n becker, n you can't even remember them once you are done with the game. And they butchered the Max Payne character completely, here he comes across as so unlikable. N what did they do with the tv? It was so fun to watch tv clips in previous games. And the hilarious enemy conversations you ran into previous MP games, totally missing here. List would go on n on. So that's why i chose to see it as an altogether different series, the only way to enjoy this game, stop looking for Max Payne in Max Payne 3, n you will have a blast. Like i said , not near the epicness of Max Payne 1 & Sam Lakes writing . I knew they wont be able to topple it and max payne wont be the same . Went in expecting the worst but R* did a good job and it was worth it . Agee with the cover mechanics , that breaks the fluid combat . She is among mass marketed female gaming icon. The woman power and sensuality pushed her and that is what she is known for today. She is not known for pushing adventure genre (because she didn't).
