TBH i still like new Lara but everything else about the whole new TR series is sh*t for me. The old game was not just a good game.... Lara had a perfect attitude , boldness , style , body language to live up to pull that game alone. Her adventures are still regarded as one of the great adventure games series ever. I remember reading a youtube comment a long time back and someone posted that he cried when he listened to the OST because he remembered those days when he would sit with his father and solve those puzzles ....scale those ancient monuments...fight those monsters .....survive those traps.........The TR series back then was as close as adventure game can ever get and Lara was perfect for that role. Nowhere near as memorable as characters like Lara, Max Payne,Ezio,Altair,Dante,PoP,Sam Fisher or John Marston. I instantly switched to the PC version as the accuracy on consoles was shite compared to the 360 version. The game was amazing, raw & brutal. The voice acting along with the soundtrack was just perfect. I never got a chance to try the first 2 games, so for me this was like a brand new entry altogether. SpearHea:D Posted March 27, 2018 Report Share Posted March 27, 2018 Only bad thing about the game was cut scenes breaking the flow of the gameplay constantly in early stages, otherwise it was a fantastic closure to max's story.
