Right Posted August 8, 2010 Report Share Posted August 8, 2010 All be be forgotten if MP3 delivers, no one talked of RDR dev time after playing it. So if it doesn't look dated, given that it's been a while since it went in production, I don't think there is a problem. Also as far as the gameplay length goes, both GTA4 RDR have both been quite satisfactory, if MP3 delivers 15-20 Hrs of SP gameplay, it will be totally worth. On the other hand, vibe I'm getting from Mafia 2 that if it has that relentless sim driving thrown in would increase mission lengths, but the original game could be really short. You drive like you do in real life, watch that gramma crossing the street, stop at every single red light...if that adds up significantly to mission length that will be frustrating. Aftrunner Posted August 8, 2010 Report Share Posted August 8, 2010 I just dont see MP3 being 15-20 hours long. Both of the previous 2 games were about half that length. Plus thing is by its very nature RDR was a huge game and delays were acceptable because they were making something complex. MP3 on the other hand is probably going to be your usual 8 hour run of the mill TPS with decent writing. So there is no excuse for it to take as long to make as RDR. And honestly I would be happy if its the usual 8 hours. Just as long as there is no filler and the game play stays fun. I bet the delay is there because they are shoving Multi player into it.
