DinJo Posted May 11, 2012 Report Share Posted May 11, 2012 First Hand Impression of Max Payne 3 The game has everything which you expect from a video game. 1. Story Narration is terrific. 2. Game revolves around past and present of Max. 3. GunPlay with M9 is fantastic , pistols are ok. 4. You can always go back to chapters and play them again just like AC sequences. 5. Cutscenes are bit weird always a ghosting image while they are playing , but hatsoff for trying something new. 6. Haven't witnessed any comic book style cutscene yet but its said to be in later half of the game. 7. I find the movement to be a bit awkward , John Marston & Niko were much better animated characters when moving. 8. The game puts directly into action unlike GTA 4 and RDR where you roam around before shooting happens 9. The attention to detail is phenomenal , haven't seen any game do that before.Though there are some areas especially in club level where textures are flat out rest is all very good. 10. There is always a sense of urgency while shooting you can't just go all out bang bang , slow mo is the key here. 11. The game is bit difficult especially there is no health regeneration and you have to rely on health packs. 12. Enemy AI takes 4-5 hits to bring me down. 13. I was under the impression that he is a critic and thats why he got the game first . Or did a "Ahem" version actually get released, if yes how come there is no news about it? @DinJo : Now that you are atleast half through , please answer few of my questions: 1) I know its a great game, but is it a great Max payne game or Just a Great game with max payne in it? The trailers never felt like a MP game. 2) What about aim assist? 3) Which difficulty are you plaing in , and how many difficulties are there? 4) How long do you think the campaign is? 5) Is it 100 % linear or there is a sense of Open World roaming?
