This isn't a review, but I hope it makes you feel better I don't know how trust worthy this is, but it doesn't sound good I received my copy of Max Payne 3 earlier today and so far I invested more than five hours. I'm really enjoying it and I strongly believe Max Payne 3 is going to be a Game of the Year contender. Unfortunately the PS3 version suffers from really bad performance issues. The framerate tends to dip a lot and gets quite choppy during intense gunfights and whenever there are explosions. Also the graphics seems washed-out, blurry, horrible aliasing issues and has flat looking textures here and there. Cutscenes are also affected by performance issues as well. I have played the Xbox 360 version of Max Payne 3 before the PS3 version at my friend's and the game looked gorgeous and played smoothly.
