nash
As a game, if you have played the prev games, you'll know what to expect, stylish john woo style action....with R*, expect some mature storytelling thrown in as a bonus. So take a call Plus this time you also get some really cheap enemy spawns and a mindless grind towards the end. Yay

Yay awww, that sucks ! how bad is it ? As bad as some COD games where enemies keep coming until u cross some mark ? BTW, is there any variety to missions ? or is it all "go to a warehouse and take down everyone" from start to end ? Big Boss
the pc version will be a console port or a proper one for the pc? They are saying all 3 versions are developed independently. But since PS3 version is having some lame problems, I am guessing 360 version is the main version, and the game is then ported to PC and PS3. Aftrunner
Getting some very mixed reviews. Bunch of 7 and 8s from most decent places along with the usual 9+ paid reviews from the garbage places. Looks like Rockstar dropped the ball on this one.
Big Boss
Eurogamer gives 7/10 Stupid review, stating bullet time kills get boring after a while. Really? When was killing in bullet time boring? And the difficulty issues should be nullified by playing with KB and mouse.

WhiteWolf
I received my copy of Max Payne 3 earlier today and so far I invested more than five hours. I'm really enjoying it and I strongly believe Max Payne 3 is going to be a Game of the Year contender. Unfortunately the PS3 version suffers from really bad performance issues. The framerate tends to dip a lot and gets quite choppy during intense gunfights and whenever there are explosions. Also the graphics seems washed-out, blurry, horrible aliasing issues and has flat looking textures here and there. Cutscenes are also affected by performance issues as well. Time to cancel my PS3 pre-order..... . CVG reviewed it on PS3...it looks quite smooth Edited May 15, 2012 by Zodak™

As bad as some COD games where enemies keep coming until u cross some mark ? BTW, is there any variety to missions ? or is it all "go to a warehouse and take down everyone" from start to end ? Enemies don't keep spawning until you hit the an event marker but the last few levels just sucked. You just face wave after wave of dudes armed to the teeth with helmets and kevlar. It's boring and not to mention frustrating because you need multiple head shots to kill them, plus Max dies real easy and without a manual-save you have to play the same sh*t over and over again. Not fun at all. Getting some very mixed reviews. Bunch of 7 and 8s from most decent places along with the usual 9+ paid reviews from the garbage places. Looks like Rockstar dropped the ball on this one. Not really. It's still a very solid and if you're an MP sort of guy, all the better for you. Eurogamer gives 7/10 Stupid review, stating bullet time kills get boring after a while. Really? When was killing in bullet time boring? And the difficulty issues should be nullified by playing with KB and mouse. Most definitely. This game is really made for mouse and KB IMO. nash
Also the matchmaking is kinda fked. It kept pairing me up with Americans so there was quite a bit of bullet lag in most of my games. And thanks to some not so l33t skillz, our crew is now ranked 174 in the world. Edited May 15, 2012 by nash

Eurogamer gives 7/10 I guess Remedy have set the bar so high, that even R* were not able to match it! Remedy Y you let go off max payne! I watched a lot of Multiplayer videos, god awful aiming these people have. It's going to be so much win with the KB+Mouse! nash
You can use Soft Lock in MP as well (just like RDR). The console versions have more players going in for that scheme obviously.

nautical_j
I could care less about the reviews as long as I enjoy the game which I know for a fact that I will cos I am psyched for this game. Just like Kane and Lynch, I loved the game, yes the game had its flaw but the fact that I was eagerly waiting for the game got me all excited and I was able to enjoy one of the most amazing (if not the best) stories in games. Bottom line is even if the PS3 version of the game comes in an 8 bit cartridge, I will still love Max Payne and play the crap out of it
