Somebody
Played MP3 on my PS3 for a few hours and ..... The presentation, narration and cut-scenes were top class but the controls kinda sucked. I had the feeling that the game probably will feel better on the PC for aiming and bullet time. The game does give you the option to choose how much aim-assist you need. Prepare to die and repeat firefights multiple times. The checkpoints work fine, but some of the firefights just end up being mostly trial and error. Story seems fine so far. The game needed a 1.01 (i think) patch on startup and then an installation of 4gb which took like 10 mins. I haven't tried the online MP, so can't comment on that yet. edit: Overall, I'm 7/10 pleased with the game so far Edited May 16, 2012 by Somebody
Ne0
^^ what kind of problems are you facing with controls ? From what I've seen in the recent R* games, the console versions have some input lag.... in RDR it was minimized, but it was still noticeable at times.... that's one of the major reasons I'm getting the game on PC... maybe its the issue with their game engine ! nautical_j
Isn't 29th the release date for PC? Btw is this heavy on requirements on the PC platform? Will it work on an old midrange (now I guess the 9650M GT is entry level or worse) card equipped laptop with a Core 2 Duo processor? I also heard that Max Payne takes 25GB+ hard disk space on the PC. Is that true?

Maybe on the lowest settings if it is decent port.

Mayank
16 in the maps I've been playing so far. Also the kill cams in this MP fkin suck. They're completely useless and are just a waste of time. aah thanks for the reply man..... but don't u think that 16 players is a bit less... i mean m playing BF3 quite a lot these days ... and with player count... it feels somewhat less .... anyways ... pre ordered my copy... waiting for it.... Somebody
@WhoCantBeNamed... It only took a few seconds to download, so I think it' shouldn't be more than 10MB. @Ne0... Well, I can't remember exactly what the issues were, but they annoyed me quite a bit. One thing was that it's kinda hard killing multiple enemies without using the L1 to auto-lock to next enemy. Also, sometimes the aiming gets all weird, and doesn't quite go where you want it to. I'll be playing the game for a little while tomorrow again, so I'll make a note of what exact issues I was facing. btw, I forgot to mention it earlier, the game looks great!

Ph3N0M
Just completed Max Payne 1 and 2. Gonna pre-order 3 sometime today, most probably. Have a doubt about multiplayer. When I'm in bullet time, how does the person in my line of sight views me? If he views me in slow motion, then doesn't it help him also? And, how do the people not in my line view me? If they view me in normal motion, doesn't this disrupt the space-time continuity?

Whatever it is, the game looks bad a*s
