Just a Question In the previous 2 games is Max more like a detective i mean is there more investigating stuff or is it similar to this one ? Not much really , but the cinematography , the cut scenes , the environment and even the game play is very different.For better. Play max Payne 2 at least. I've played Mp3 only till chapter 7 till now, but this isn't a "Max Payne" game for me. This is a great TPS starring max pane for me. Why is the game so bright, when it's supposed to be a Noir is beyond me. Not saying that Max Payne 2 is bad or something, it's great.I am really loving it, but as a sequel it failed in many places. Although I liked the things R* did to the game. The character animations and physics are the best ever. Kill Cam effect is ultra kool. Gameplay is also excellent, except for the cover system which is kinda annoying, not as good as say Uncharted series . But I really didn't like the story too much and none of the characters are any interesting in the game, including Max Payne. Huge letdown in that aspect. The Comic style cutscenes with police sirens in background is just unbeatable. Maybe I will change my opinion after I finish it completely. He does take an inordinately long time to get back on his feet but then I feel that is what Max is right now, with all the booze and painkillers running in his veins. Cover in this game is half baked. If he can move into cover, no reason he can't move from cover to cover. Plus like Keyofx says, the ability to not do so, just looks sloppy. I understand this game is meant to be played as a run and gun game but if they introduced cover, they may as well implement it properly. Also with the amount of booze in his veins if he jumped so much, he'd puke his balls out. There's no way a man who's so pumped on painkillers and alcohol could shoot so well. Just activate bullet time; and take headshots...If becker fires grenades; shoot them to inflict extra damage....be loaded on painkillers but dont let LMS activate....
