Not quite as simple as that. The posts have been "spirited away", but trust me, I wouldn't ban someone for such a silly exchange. Unnecessary usage of offensive language should be avoided on any forum, and especially our forum. It sours the experience for everyone else. And when a member continues to use such language, increasing the intensity and ferocity of the usage with every subsequent post, it has to be dealt with swiftly. Weenie persisted with the language and continued to direct the attacks at me personally. But, I havent banned him. Goodie then we're not fighting anymore Also appologize if i behaved immaturely. vinitwins Posted September 28, 2007 Report Share Posted September 28, 2007 guys wer to change the nat to open? it's not a simple on/off setting BUT is dependent on a few factors: 1. port forwarding OR DMZ OR UNPNP vs closed firewall 2. static IP address 3. having compatible equipment 4. hoping that your ISP is not blocking any ports used by XBL/the game you are playing or running any packet filtering on traffic passing through their networks (induces all sorts of problems from lag to not being able to connect) and now the kicker, even all this is not a guarantee that your nat will be open for full XBL masti. But it was awesome!!!! And the sandtrap was uber cool!!! Totally,V rocks as a driver, i and he went on a killing spree killing like 4 people in 10 seconds...made our team win eventually LOL!!! Man...bullets are flying from every corner of the map!! Its insane...i cant even take a breather after i frag someone!!! The only time i was relaxingh was high up in the sky on a banshee!! so true, when ever i kill someone i just go hide in a sneaky area till my armour replenishes Nash u totally owned everyone!! vinitwins Posted September 28, 2007 Report Share Posted September 28, 2007 a question guys - does playing on a widescreen resolution (720p vs 1024x768/4:3) affect your field of vision? i'm asking this 'coz halo defaults to a 4:3 full screen on a crt (sd tv or a pc monitor via vga cable). i somehow feel more comfortable while playing in widescreen - so i set the dashboard to 720p (the console stretches the image to full screen even if you lock it to a widescreen mode) and changed the V-size of my monitor so that the aspect ratio looks correct - i dont know if this has simply added 2 black horiz bars on the top&bottom (akin to bioshock's pseudo widescreen) but i was able to play better.
