Aftrunner Posted November 2, 2009 Report Share Posted November 2, 2009 Over 45 seconds. Probably more as its supposed to be a 15 second penalty for each TK and suicide. So it should come to about 60 seconds. Doesnt really matter though, the game ended before I could spawn. The other team was right behind us FFS! I dont know why I wasnt booted. I wasnt getting much lag in the second game either. Anyway hit me up whenever you see me next and we will try again. Hopefully my connection wont be such a piece of sh*t then. Arbiterageur Posted November 5, 2009 Report Share Posted November 5, 2009 i guess it was some weird sh*t happenin in that match on standoff no... standoff was 5v5... these recent ok matches are all 4v4 or 3v3. so yeah it was a problem with my connection there. dumb isp has not increased my speed even one month after i applied. oh and anyone else started playing team slayer? i played TS with 2 guys from India - Ricky and Omega - today... fun stuff but very hard to rank up. like after 5 wins or so my rank went up only by one... We were playing the pits and you know how sometimes after the game ends you start shooting at teammates and throwing grenades for no reason. Anyway I had a rocket launcher and the game was tied 2-2. As my team brings in the flag to the base I get ready to shoot everyone in celebration. Only did it a little prematurely. Result? An overkill betrayal with suicide. And we then we lost 3-2. Ouch. Feel free to invite me when you're on, I will if I see you online. Lol I remember when I played my very first H3 MP round (basic training on guardian)... I got a +22 (+25/-3) and went into matchmaking expecting to shock and awe everyone with my incredible +22 awesomeness... after that.. umm let's not get into details Also, I had host for the first two games, so you might have got good ping. The last game we lagged big time. Could you lemme know if you had major lag in those first 2 games? Like players disappearing and reappearing somewhere else/shots not registering/big delay in melee or weapon pick up? Or was it mostly lag free? I had a postive spread in the first one and it was somewhat equal in the second from what I remember. But the third one I was getting beaten up so badly and couldn't get a single kill no matter how many bullets I put on them. A combination of lag + good players proved really fatal. Played some regular games after that. Was high yellow ping in most of them and didn't have any problem. Anyway, don't worry about it. Will definitely join in again next time. After the recon amor begging period, which they ended by allowing everyone to get it through ODST, bungie shows up with another trick up their sleeves..
