Hi,

I just bought a ps3 yesterday (actually my gf gifted it to me on my bdday :-))), I wanted to buy a game which she can play as well. I tried Motorstorm2 with her, but she didnt fancy it much, and she is not a hardcore gamer at all (very very casual gamer), so FPS etc go out of the picture as well. And ya, she doesnt like sports games (damn!!)

Can anybody suggest what game I can buy to play with her. She loves Harry Potter books (who doesnt ;-)), so I was wondering if the harry potter game available on PS3 is any good???? Can you suggest some other games as well which a girl might like to play.!!:-)

Thanks!!!!

She bought you a PS3 :naughty::chair::P

I don't think girls like video games. There are exception and it depends but obviously you need to try LBP. May be girls would like Wii but I am not sure :wacko:

^^Idiotic misconception. My last to last GF loved strategy stuff on the PC. My sister loves playing on the PS2.

Its not that girls don't like VG, its just that they don't get much exposure to them.

In fact I am pretty sure that everyone likes video games, if they don't then they just haven't found the right game for themselves yet. :naughty:

I know about the ps3proxy thing, but yesterday when i played motorstorm2, it installed firmware version 2.42. Damn, according to all the posts i have read and enquired in, the ps3proxy thing stopped working after 2.40. It still downloads the demo to the PS3 from PC, but while installing it gives an error.

I had downloaded a lot of demos on PC before buying the PS3, but it seems all would get wasted now :-(.

You have the wrong info.. it still works with a workaround.. i use it :) .. While keeping the PS3proxy running, choose the demo u wanna dlnd.. after the dlnding screen comes, stop it & copy the URL in PS3proxy's log window to ur download manager.. download the whole file.. After that, while running PS3proxy, again go to ur dlnds section on PSN.. Link the URL & ur dlnd on the 3rd window of PS3proxy.. hit the dlnd button on PSN.. & voila, u r done.. :naughty:
