Kazekage Gaara Posted January 2, 2008 Report Share Posted January 2, 2008 can i go back from CFW to the normal FW what does OE mean do i hav to format the memory stick b4 doing the downgrade n then the upgrade will i lose ne of the saved files or ne data on the mem stick Well, yes you can go to an official firmware but I don't think there would be any need for that since a custom firmware can do everything that an official firmware can do, plus more of course Well, I would recommend you to format your mem stick and keep it clean and empty for the downgrade/upgrade process to minimize the confusion since you'll have to move quite a few downgrade/upgrade files to finish the whole process but just as Harsahil said, you can take backup of your game saves before going ahead with it OE means "Open Edition". Its kinda like "open source" but that shouldn't matter much Also, the name "OE" was used by Dark Alex in his previous custom firmwares.
